We have stayed at the Hampton Inn-Medical Park a number of times. Each time, the staff is gracious, the rooms immaculate, and the location very convenient to downtown and the beaches. Request to stay in the new wing--it's beautiful!

We went here for a little mini-beach vacation and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. It is about 7-10 mins from the beach, but is worth the peace and quiet from all the nightlife and college noice. If you have a chance, request a room in the new updated, renovated wing of the hotel. The breakfast is awesome! There a nice, open room to eat your breakfast and plenty of families there that let you know it is a great stay for the whole family! Last, but not least, they have hot cookies for afternoon check-in, so make sure you get a chance to snag some of them!
To summarize: GREAT HOTEL!

The construction is completed. I had termites in the first room assigned and was moved to another room. It was clean and above average.

Stayed 2 nights because of a soccer tournament. We were less than 10 minutes away from Veterans Park which was nice. Hotel itself was ok. 1st bed in room 218 was awlful. It squeaked everytime you would move. Bed was not comfortable. Had trouble with room key cards demagnatizing. Had to have the front desk swipe them again. Saw other people with the same problem. Breakfast was not as good. There was a big variety though. They had a fridge with waffles, omlets, french toast. That food was awlful. It was packaged food that you heat up. No big waffle makers to make your own waffles like other Hampton Inns that we have stayed at have. Food was not replenished. Alot of empty containers. Pool looked nice. Fitness room was nice too. There is a Pizza Hut restaurant across the street which was handy for an evening snack.

I had to stay here because a family member was in the hospital but the staff was so nice and referred different places to eat. The rooms are sooo nice. Their beds are absolutely to die for, we wanted to take them home with us bc you just sink into them!
