Normally, we like the value of Hampton Inns. However, many of the older buildings are falling into decline like this one. The Hampton Terre Haute was worn, with very uncomfortable beds. It is situated between a busy highway and a 24-hour gas station, so that there is no quiet room. Hampton Inn should close this facility - it is not even an average Hampton.

Found the stay to be average. Room was large and clean, king size bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was my definition of standard: juice, cereal, yogurt, bagels & pastries, sausage bisquits, and coffee. Rated it average because I thought the rate was high ($110 per night) for the Terre Haute area for the services provided.

Uncomfortable bed!
Guest name: Anonymous
Hotel was clean and room was large, but bed was exceptionally uncomfortable! I had two double beds, and even tried switching but both were equally bad. Sheets were itchy and they had that ugly non-breathable brown synthetic blanket that seems ubiquitous in some hotel chains these days. Yuk!
Breakfast selections were 95% unhealthly -- difficult for someone who cares about good nutrition.
