This is a great Hampton. Fairly elegant for a suburban motel, with nice music piped in to the area outside the entry and in the elevator areas. The check-in guy was very friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast in the morning. There was an elevator. The room was clean and well-appointed, with the extemely comfortable beds and bedding that all Hamptons seem to have now. The room temperature was very well-controlled due to the wall-mounted thermostat. The A/C unit was very quiet and unobtrusive during the night. The room included a fridge, microwave, flat-screen TV, and even a cordless phone. There was both wired and wireless internet access in the room, and a cable was included for the wireless. In the morning, a USA Today was hanging on the doorknob. The motel is easy to get to off of I-30. There is an Applebees and an IHOP in walking distance across the parking lot, and there are lots of other restaurants and fast food a few minutes north in town. One complaint - it appeared that the owner/manager parks his car under the overhang in front of the motel entrance. This is just a pet peeve of mine, as this area is for the guests checking in and checking out, especially in nasty weather. But that aside, this is an undeniably excellent motel.

Great hotel. We stayed in a room with a 2 person jacuzzi and it was fabulous. It seemed like a brand new room. It was very clean. The breakfast area was spotless and the food was scrumptious.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel! My husband and I, along with our two boys stayed here the end of June. It appeared that it had just opened recently! All of the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us! My husband and I are very picky when it comes to cleanliness and this hotel passed our inspection with flying colors, it was spotless! This hotel also offers a wonderful complimentary HOT breakfast, it was so good! There is also an Applebee's in front of the hotel as well as a Red Lobster & Chili's just down the road!
