We stayed here for one night in June 08 on our way to visit the Grand Canyon. It is about 70 miles south of the Grand Canyon.
The hotel is very nice. The staff is courteous and goes out of their way to help you. The room was spotless and nice size. We used the indoor pool/hot tub which was also very clean.
As mention by other reviewers, you can hear the train from your room, but once we were asleep, it never disturbed us. I think that you'd have to be an awfully light sleeper to let it keep you awake at night.
They serve a complimentary breakfast each day which was very good.
We definitely stay here again.

Good location, just on the edge of town by RT. 89. Some may not like the train sounds that go through town and can be heard in the room, but we loved it! Clean, comfortable bed and the best part....smooth sheets. Some Inns have gone to strange, scratchy, probably synthentic fabric, sheets. This one had nice smooth ones. Good value.

Booked a suite which had a king bed and a sofa bed. The king bed was in it's own room with a door so it was great for privacy when traveling with young children. Location was great, a perfect place to be for five days as we took day drips to all the attractions (Sedona, Grand Canyon, etc). Hotel was clean, staff were friendly, great that the room had full kitchen facilities (hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer etc), we even had a view of the San Francisco peaks from the room.
We'd definitely book this hotel again if visiting Flagstaff.

We stayed here after our car broke down and was being repaired. Getting a reservation was easy and the hotel was very nice. Updated bathrooms and great bedding. Very quiet and a good breakfast. If ever in Flagstaff check it out!

We planned a road trip from Denver to Las Vegas, and due to weather, we had to change our trip route. We were scheduled to stay the night at the Hampton Inn in Richfield, Utah, but due to snow road closures, we had to change our route to New Mexico and Arizona. My other half booked us a room in Flagstaff, and away we went! We always travel well together, and this trip was no exception. We drove straight through to Flagstaff, as we wanted to get past the Rocky Mountains and out of the snow. We arrived late on a Friday night. The check in was fast and efficient. Our room was very nice and comfortable. We did not spend much time at the hotel, other than to relax for an hour and then climb into bed. The bed was one of the signature Hampton Beds...very comfortable! The room was comfortable, with a couch, coffee table and desk, so we could spread out for awhile and plan our next day's travel plans, and eat take out, as we arrived late...the hotel is surrounded by large pine trees so it feels like you are not even in the city. The hotel is close to the interstate, but far enough off that you do not hear any traffic. We will be back and will choose this Hampton Inn to stay at!
