Great hotel. Good location, clean, friendly staff and good value. When you go to the beach you have to use the Back Porch'es beach area. This is a well known restaurant in the Destin area. It is 2-3 hundred yards down the street. If you like setting up your beach umbrella and sitting close to the water, get their early. The restaurant puts up umbrella's and chairs for rent and once they go up their is not much space left. We usually got their by 9am and had no problem. The beach area also gets pretty crowded around 6-9pm at night as this is a very popular restaurant. We had a great time and will probably do it again.

Husband and I along with our 15 year old grandson stayed at the Hampton Inn a couple of weeks ago. We were in Destin to vacation and visit with family and friends. The hotel proved to be centrally located and was easy to access on and off the highway. It is very near the entrance to the beach (about a 3 minute walk) and within a 5 min. walk to two very nice restaurants. The pool area was small but well landscaped and kept very clean. A nice outdoor eating area and a good complimentary breakfast made this hotel a wise choice. The extra bonus for my grandson was a basketball court on the premises and a go-kart track across the street. We would be happy to return to this hotel in the future.

Spent one night here. The location was central and easy access to the beach. Breakfast above average, and the internet access was good. Only problem, and this is personal choice, is that the mattress was much TOOO soft. Made sleeping uncomfortable.

We stayed at this hotel from Sept. 6 - 9, 2007 for our wedding. We blocked off 20 rooms for our guests. Don't let the little pink building fool you! This is a very nice hotel. It's just a 2 min walk to the beach, which is right across the street. The staff is friendly and helpful. We listed 3 hotels on our invitations in order to give people options but recommended that everyone stay at the Hampton Inn. We stayed in a king suite. One side of the room had the bed, sofa, desk, and bathroom. The other side of the room was bascially a living room. It had a kitchen, full size fridge, TV, and sofa bed. The suite was VERY roomy.
