Never had a nicer stay anywhere. The room was the best. The staff went way out of their way to accomodate us. I hated when we had to leave for home. This is just an excellent place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.. Ultra clean throughout.

We live in Dayton but wanted to "get away" for a kid free night for our 10th anniversary. Having booked a reservation at another hotel..and arriving and not having the ammenities we wanted, we called Hampton Inn and the very nice clerk told us we could come and ck out the room. We left the hotel we were at and headed right over. The room was everything we wanted and more! A true 2 person jacuzzi, a nice roomy room with a very comfy king size bed, seperate kitchentte area, and pay per view movies. The hotel was spotless, the employees were very friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. I called the front desk the morning of our check out to see if we could have a late check out and they were happy to oblige. Comfort Suites USED to be our favorite hotel..I think we will be staying at Hampton Inns from now on!

This hotel is a great place to stay while visiting Dayton. It was very clean, and the pool was very nice. The service was very good. It wasn't far from the Air Force Base. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Great New Hampton In Dayton!
Guest name: eurotrek, knoxville, tn
Just spent 2 nights at the new Hampton Inn on Miller Lane in Dayton ( Vandalia), Ohio and had a wonderful stay. This Hampton opened in August 2006, so everything is brand new. The entire hotel had a fresh clean smell and was squeaky clean. We had a 2nd floor non-smoking room with 2 queen beds, with the new Hampton bedding..triple sheeted and duvet with covers that are laundered with each guest, like they should be and 4 pillows ( including feather) on each bed. Room had nice decor with wine and olive green color scheme..good taste. Lamps had bright light bulbs and there was free ( not wireless) internet in room. I was told there is wireless in lobby, but we didn't use it, but there is also a business center with computer.
The bathroom has a large vanity with granite countertop and loads of white towels displayed nicely on the shelves under the sink...very nice, and coffee maker. Our room did not have microwave or mini-frig, but I know the hotels does have these rooms.
There is also a nice size indoor pool, but we didn't have time to use it.
Hotel was in good safe area with lots of choices of restaurants nearby, including Panera, O'Charley's, Tim Horton's etc. on Miller Lane so you don't have to get on the interstate to eat.
Breakfast was better than most, with eggs and sausages, bagels and the usual fruits, yogurts and muffins. Also they had fresh baked cookies at night.
We travel a lot and stay in hotels about 5-10 nights a month and I am VERY picky about cleanliness, linens, and decor and this Hampton was perfect.
The front desk clerk, Gloria, was exceptionally nice. I would certainly stay at this Hampton again!
I usually post photos but didn't take any this trip, but the hotel looks just like the web page photos.
A side note: If you have time when you are in Dayton, be sure to visit the U.S.Air Force Museum. It was OUTSTANDING!
