As expected for a Hampton Inn hotel room it was neat and clean. The rooms are large enough for double queen size beds, but only double full sized beds are offered. Also, the dining area where the breakfast tables are located is down two steps from the floor where the food is. Not very good for a handicapped person.

I needed to stay here to visit a client, and frankly wasnt looking forward to it. My company usually books higher priced hotels, but since this was closer, I decided to try the Hampton Inn.
I must say that the experience was better than most of the higher-rated class hotels!. When I got there, they had my room and key already waiting for me. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and sincerely wished me a pleasant stay. When I got to my room, it was roomy, clean and very comfortable. After about 15 minutes, I got a call from the front desk asking me if the room was satisfactory. They even provided a complimentary bottle of water and bag of chips.
I was rushed in the morning and didn't have time to enjoy the hot breakfast. The hotel had wonderful brown bag breakfasts packed for their guests - and it was really nice and super convenient!
My only complaint was that the acoustics were not that great in that the person next to me was taking a shower and it woke me up.
I would highly recommend this hotel over the more expensive places that don't provide nearly as attentive service. Well done Hampton! I would stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone else.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn South in late March while visiting friends in the area. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with the usual level of quality and amenities you associate with the Hampton chain (clean rooms, good complimentary breakfast, etc., small exercise room).
The Hampton's best feature was it's location. It is off of an exit of
I-675. You can reach just about anywhere in Dayton's south suburbs from the hotel in a short time.
My only criticism would be that the equipment in the exercise room was limited and somewhat old. So, they should replace the existing equipment, and offer more choices (elliptical trainer, etc.).

Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Dayton on a business trip. I was pleasantly suprised at the condition of the room. It was very clean and smelled fresh (not the stale smell you find in many hotel rooms). Their new, updated linens were wonderful. I also really liked the provided lap desk so I could work while sitting on the bed. It's a little hairy making the left turn out of the parking lot, but the location to restaurants and the Dayton Mall can't be beat.
