Great Hotel for Airport

I stayed at the "Hampton Inn Airport" on a Friday night before flying out of CMH the next morning, the hotel was just about full, but it was very quiet. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean, and the king bed was very comfortable. They offer free hi-speed wireless, and have a hot breakfast buffet from 6-10 every morning. They offer a park and ride shuttle to the airport, though the long term lot is right across the street. The only restaurant nearby is McDonalds open 24-7. The area is very safe, with airport security all over. All in all a good value.

My 18 year old son and I stayed here for two nights, with an overnight visit to a local college in between the two Hampton Inn nights. We arrived very late the first night and we were greeted by a pleasant and helpful front desk clerk, Matt. The room was very clean and modern. The queen beds were great with quality linens and pillows. There were toiletries in the bathroom as well as a single serve coffee maker. 24/7 coffee and tea service in the lobby. The breakfast was fine ... quite adequate while not mouth-watering ... what one expects in this type of hotel. On our second visit, we had a very early morning flight. The wake-up call came as requested and airport shuttle arrived for us within minutes of our request. It is so close to the airport that, in a pinch and with good weather, you could actually walk there. But no need ... the shuttle runs very regularly. I should also mention that even though it is very close to the airport, there was no problem at all with aircraft noise. I would absolutely stay again.

I'm not sure of all the bad reviews, definatly could NOT have been the same Hampton we stayed at or just VERY picky travelers. We chose to stay at this particular Hampton because it was close to the airport and we had a very early flight the next morning. When we checked in we were greeted with a very friendly greeting. The front desk was so helpful with suggestions about restaurants in the area. They offer a shuttle free of charge to Easton mall with all kinds of places to eat and places to shop. The two girls at the desk greeted us when we arrived back after dinner asking how everything was and even offered to print out boarding passes for us! The rooms were very clean, they have all the new Hampton bedding and the beds were so comfortable!! The breakfast was great and the shuttle service to the Airport arrived almost seconds after we requested it. I was very pleased with our stay and we will surely stay at this Hampton on our next trip.

Like many, I am a Hilton Honors member and agree with recent reviews that this hotel is very disapointing. We did not get very kind service when we arrived late at night and only needed to stay for one night before leaving at 5:30 a.m. for NYC. The desk clerk agreed to give us a wake up call and said the shuttle would be ready for the early airport departure. We had no phone service and therefore no wake up call. We didn't realize that until the morning when I fortunately had a back up alarm and tried to call to make sure the shuttle was ready. No service on the phone at all! Then of course, the shuttle wasn't ready and we rushed out with no information about the requirements or risks of leaving the car there. That had been the reason I booked the hotel, to avoid long term parking charges. When we returned, four days later, my car had been keyed, horribly! They did nothing of course and I can't even get anyone to answer after several calls upon our return to speak to a manager. Of course, I suppose their phones may not be working either!!! Very disappointing, Hilton!

My family and I stayed 1 night before a trip to Boston, We had what was called a study room (King with a roll out sofa) both beds we very comfortable, with a nice down comforter on the king. Bath was very spacious with plenty of hot water and nice pressure. Nice continental breakfast with fresh fruit and yogurt, overall a pretty nice spread. Plenty of parking, and the hotel is right across from the blue long-term lot, which was very convenient for my travels. This is the 1st time that I have stayed in a Hampton, so I have no frame to compare it to the others, but I found this to be a perfectly acceptable hotel for a night or two stay.
