We booked with a large group for a weekend. The property was greatly understaffed and multiple parents in our group had difficulty getting normal items such as towels. In our room we had to plunge our own toilet that was clogged upon arrival, because we were told that "no one is available to do that right now, but we have the plunger right here if you want to come get it". After reporting a problem on the Hilton website we were contacted by the General Manager and told we would be refunded the amount of our stay. Here it is over a month later and no refund has been credited to our credit card.
This property would fall under the "Poor Management and Understaffed" category.

The Beds are GREAT!

We recently hosted a Family Reunion at the Hampton Inn. Although initially they lost are group booking they still made up for it in great customer service to resolve the issue before we arrived to the hotel.
The beds are GREAT! Everyone in our party enjoyed the comfort and pleasure of the beds.
The morning breakfast left a little to be desired. But if a continental breakfast suits you then you will be fine - numerous muffins, danishes, biscuits, cereals, fruit, coffee, yogurt and juices. I'm just a meat and eggs person so without any meat I wasn't happy. I was also disappointed that they didn't have a waffle iron.
We reserved the conference room and they allowed us to bring in our own beverages and food for our family gathering.
The pool was set at 80 degrees and the children greatly enjoyed swimming inside while it was raining on the outside.
Overall we had a pleasant stay w/out any major problems.

On our first night (Saturday) Connie slipped on water outside of the elevator. The clerk was told 2 times about the water and didn't show any interest in taking care of it or checking on Connie. We informed the clerk upon check-in not to go into our room for any reason; we would take care of our towels and trash. On Monday, upon returning from breakfast, we discovered that housekeeping had entered the room and removed towels.
We complained to the general manager and were told we should have had the do not disturb card in the slot. Sally informed her that she was in law enforcement and had a loaded gun in the room and that was why the front desk was notified not to go in our room the first day, and that the do not disturb card was only a backup; anyone could walk down the halls and remove them.
Not once during the 3 days that we were there did anyone call to see if Connie was alright.
When we checked out, I asked the general manager to honor the 100% satisfaction guarantee that is Hampton Inn's motto. She informed me, "You came here with the intention of getting your money back, and have done nothing but cause trouble since you got here!"
Needless to say, I was never so insulted as that morning. I have since had to deal with Hampton's toll free customer care number to get them to honor their guarantee.
I will never stay at the Hampton Inn on Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City again.

Great location for shopping and restaurants. It was also easy to get to the airport from the hotel. The hotel was very full the night we stayed, but noise was not a problem. Room was kind of small, but room amenities were nice. Comfortable beds, wonderful duvets, lapdesk, plenty of pillows, and large bathroom. Parking was not a problem and front desk staff were helpful. Breakfast bar was very crowded, so skipped that part, but coffee was excellent.
