Rough General Manager
Guest name: meandgracie, meandgracie
I made a reservation in-person which I later cancelled, and had asked the desk if I could use the computer to check my travel plans. At most places such a thing usually isn't a big deal.
The general manager was quite angry when I called a second time to change the date on a reservation. And she said that my card would be charged by 6 p.m. if I didn't show up.
They were quite ornery and nitpicky. Other hotels in the area are more hospitable and don't flip out about minor things, such as grabbing a newspaper or using a computer or phone for a few minutes before you are a registered guest.

Mountain Home was a good stopping point on our way to West Yellowstone. We stayed one night at the Hampton Inn and we chose this particular motel because it was the only motel/hotel with an indoor pool (as far as we could find on the internet) in Mountain Home. We had adjoining rooms for our family of 5 which could of slept 7. It was immaculately clean, with pillow top comfortable beds, nice furniture, extra ammenities like mouth wash along with what you'd expect in a higher class motel/hotel. The staff was friendly and it wasn't all that expensive for what they had to offer. They even held our old pillow for us we accidentally left behind, and so we were able to pick it up on the way home.
