This Hampton ranks up there with the nicest Hamptons - newer, modern, very clean, even smells nice! The staff was friendly, and my king room was huge and immaculate. The bed was the usual Hilton comfort bed, and the desk and wireless internet worked great and made evening work hassle free and comfortable. The hotel is less than 2 miles from MFR and near the Rogue mall area, which was very convenient to I-5, without being right on the highway. There was a coffee shop and a newer, modern Dairy Queen adjacent to the hotel parking lot, and right down the road a Marie Callendars, Applebees, and Red Robin, among other local dining choices. As usual, the morning breakfasts are included in the room rate and full of nice variety. I'd definitely recommend this Hampton if your travels take you to Medford.

I stayed here one night while making my way up I-5. Fairly standard Hampton Inn material. Quiet, comfortable, and clean rooms. This one had a fridge and a microwave in the room which were handy. The hotel is in a place that is a little hard to get to, but some of Medford's streets are laid out in a weird way. I did have to wait a few moments to check-in as the front desk woman was busy baking cookies for later in the evening. Not a destination hotel, but a good place to stay.

I recently booked a room at the Windmill Inn across the street but the room was unsatisfactory (some type of masking air freshener or carpet cleaning odor in both the first room and then an alternate room that was assigned to me). I moved to this Hampton across the street that was newer, much nicer, larger room, very comfortable bed and no odor. The Hampton was a few dollars more but definitely worth it.

NOTE: This hotel is in Medford, not Ashland.
This is your usual mid-level chain hotel. No complaints if you're not looking for high end luxury or top notch designer decor. Everything as expected: very clean, friendly, standard room, etc.
Hotel is well kept, not worn. Room was clean and had regular hotel amenities (soap, shampoo, etc.) plus a microwave and small frig. Quiet. Not right next to freeway (but close by for easy access), off quiet street overlooking homes. Very close to downtown Medford, the airport, and just about everything. Medford is pretty small and accessable, so you really can stay at just about any hotel in town and still be close to everything.
Simple breakfast buffet in lobby comes with your room. A counter along one wall in large room adjacent to lobby has the usual stuff: eggs and sausage, dry cereal, cream cheese and bagels, 4 types of coffee, etc. Not a restaurant quality buffet, but good enough for people on the go.
I'd stay here again.

This Hampton Inn is pretty nice. Not the best Hampton Inn in terms of newness but their staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. Great business hotel.
