Excellent Hampton Inn
Guest name: SJayinCT, Connecticut
This is either a very new or newly renovated hotel which is in great physical shape. The rooms are spacious, quiet and clean, the staff is friendly and it has the usual high speed internet access. In addition it is within walking distance of at least a dozen restaurants of all types - this is a major plus. The rates are very reasonable.

The room was more than adequate for our two night stay and the complimentary breakfast was very nice. The staff was helpful, even calling up to the room to make sure everything was in order. We appreciated complimentary internet access on the hotel's computer - and the fresh baked cookies at the front desk.

We stayed for 3 nights, for most people it is a business hotel. This meant we had the pool to ourselves which was great. Rooms and hotel generally are in top condition. Its in a good spot for the city and the beaches. The new shopping mall nearby is great.

This is an excellent limited service hotel. It looks recently refurbished with fresh paint, new carpets and furniture, upgraded lighting, and a new hotel smell. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. It's also next to an excellent privately owned restaurant called the Chop House, recommended by the desk clerk.

I stayed here for three nights with my family during their trip to Jax. We had the master king suite, which consisted of two rooms - a living area with comfortable sofa bed, and a separate bedroom. There was also a sink, microwave, and refrigerator. The spacious bathroom had two sinks, a whirlpool tub (did not use), and a shower stall. The entire suite was decorated in bright colors, which were very modern. The whole suite was extremely comfortable, clean, and an amazing value for the price we paid.
We had considered reserving two separate rooms, but the suite ended up being a better value. It also was good for nights when my sister and I wanted to stay up and watch TV. My father could go to bed in the separate room and not hear the TV.
You would never know this property was a Hampton Inn by the decor and overall atmosphere. It looks brand new.
The free continental breakfast was above average and was located in the large lobby area with a fireplace and flat-screen LCD TV. The pool is located adjacent to the lobby. It is small, but adequate.
Other items of note... the hotel is located in the Tinseltown area, which has a huge selection of restaurants, shops, and a movie theater all within walking distance.
