Called [--] & got this the same night on a Saturday....good location for day trip to Zion NP.
It's a Hampton...nice, clean, comfy beds....not highly used so that they're dippy yet, good breakfast, friendly accomodating staff. don't plan to do lots of laundry, only one washer & dryer. Really nice warm indoor pool...even the adults could get in easily!
Located to lots of nearby restaurants & a walmart...wow!

This is not my first stay at The Cedar City Hampton Inn, but the first time I shared my comments. The Inn is a great value to stay at, conveniently located off the freeway (but far enough away to not be disturbed by traffic noise) in a mixed residential/commercial neighborhood.
The rooms are not the largest I have stayed in, however a value given the cleanliness of the room (and property in general), well furnished, and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, remembered my name (wow) and are very efficient
The free internet access is terrific (surprising that even today so many hotels charging much more for their rooms continue to add internet access charges to their bills).
The Hampton has a small, but well equipped gym and a good indoor swimming pool, and a nice breakfast is included too. There are several restaurants to enjoy within walking (or a short drive) distance of the Inn (I like the old fashioned ice cream parlor next door).
I will be returning to The Hampton Inn when my travels bring me through Cedar City again.

We stayed at the Hampton one night while passing through Cedar City.
Check in was a breeze, the front line staff was pleasant and extremely accomodating. The hotel is located within walking distance of a number of restaurants, which was appreciated after a long, long day on the road.
The beds are extremely comfortable - but the rooms are incredibly small...possibly the smallest rooms we've ever seen. They really are adequate for one person, but too cramped for two people...perhaps 2 feet from the bed to the wall on one side, 2 feet to the closest at the foot, and 4 feet on the other side, which includes the entrance walkway. Not some place that we would chose to spend any amount of time.
For the price we'd most likely pick somewhere else next time.
Not What I Expected

I'm a Hilton Gold member and traveled around the world so I decided to stay at the Hampton since it is a part of the Hilton Chain line. Since I'm used to getting the upgrades I thought I was going to get the same treatment but instead they put me into a double Queen beds with the airconditoner not working. And I was told that the King size room was not available even though there was only 5 cars in the entire parking lot with a 40% occupancy. I guess you have to be a Mormon to get the upgrades.
Good Experience as Expected from Hampton Inns

I have learned that Hamptons Inns have a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. As a consequence I always stay at an Hampton Inn if possible while out on the road.
This hotel lives up to their high standards and provides a comfortable and clean stop over location when travelling from Las Vegas to Denver.
