Hampton's are always my first choice when traveling on business. As a diamond member, I stay at Hampton Inn's in excess of 50 times per year.
While I've stayed here in the past, I have not stayed here lately. My stay of this week will leave me searching for other locations in this area. This is an older location that looks as though they've attempted to upgrade the furniture and carpeting. What I found "un Hampton-like" was the unvacuumed floor in the room. There were crumbs all over the place - even a small pink pill of some sort. Additionally, there was a tear in the sheets up near the pillow. The breakfast area is very small and the selection was pretty picked over and limited by 8:00. If this were another chain, I would probably rate this as "above average" - but not Hampton.
Aside from that, good location with tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. Good TV channel choices, but onld, smaller TV's. By the way, the hot tub was roped off and closed this week.

I stayed at this hotel for one night while on business. The hotel looked in dire need of a renovation. During the night, I kept feeling something bitting me while I tried to sleep. I couldn't check out fast enough. I couldn't understand why my office booked this hotel, but later found out that my office confused this hotel with another Hampton Inn in Akron that received good reviews on Trip Advisor. Beware when choosing a location in Akron!
