Not worth the money

The rate was $129. I called to see if they'd come down, but they wouldn't budge. I figured I'd get a nice room for the money. Well the interstate noise was really loud. And there were ants in my room. Not a ton, but still, it was very annoying. There are other hotels at nearby exits, I'll try one of those next time I'm driving through.

Stayed for a weekend wedding. This hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient to I-81 without a lot of noise. Hampton Inns seem to deliver a consistent product at a reasonable price.

Stayed at this Hampton on way back home from Columbus Ga to Canton Oh. Walked in at 10pm and got a room on a Fri night. The room and staff was great, there was good access to Bristol for dining. Hotel is a bit too close to I-81, but was lucky that due to the weekend, truck traffic was lower (noise). A clean, comfortable room, excellent staff, great breakfast provided.. Well worth the money.

if you want to stay next to the Interstate....

I stayed there and the hotel is perfect located next to the Interstate. If you are travelling and you are so tired that you just need a bed, this is your choice. If you are on vacation, don´t stay there, only if you are living next to an Interstate or in the middle of a big city (than you are used to this noise). The windowframe of my room was broken and it was raining, so the a/c hat a little lake on top....
Well, as I said if you just need a room for the night.....
The continental breakfast was good, Hampton Inn style....

My daughter and I were visiting King College in Bristol and chose this Hampton Inn. We had never been to Bristol and found this to be such an easy drive from the Tri-Cities airport. It is so direct from the airport and so direct to King. You are a ways from King College, but not as far as all the other hotels the college recommends. This Hampton, while new, is very used...carpet worn, stained and burned in the "non-smoking" rooms. I am sure it gets a lot of traffic from the race fans from the Bristol Speedway. The linens were clean, the bathrooms were clean, the service wonderful. I love Hampton's new "breakfast to go" service..it was so convienient to just grab it on the way to our appointment at the college. The breakfast buffet looked good too if you had time to stay. We were close to everything. We even took in a play at the Barter Theatre in VA. Nice hotel, I would stay there again. Added bonus....the world's only Guitar Shaped Museum is next door to the hotel. Lots of Antique stores in downtown Bristol. We spent a whole afternoon shopping there...it was great. Good hotel, beautiful city.
