I stayed at the Hampton Inn, Billings MT.
You would think when you left your room it would be secure. I made the mistake of leaving my I-Pod in my room and when I retuned later that day it was GONE. I went to the front desk and they could have cared less. HOW CAN YOU STAY AT A HOTEL WHERE YOUR BELONGINGS ARE NOT SAFE?????

This Hampton Inn is conveniently located to the Interstate, but it is not located close to downtown. This is your average HI with the somewhat typical HI suites. However, the front desk was very helpful with directions. There are casinos located throughout Billings, with one just across the road from this HI. This locale is right for the business traveler with the easy access to I-90, but for the tourist, I would recommend staying somewhere closer to downtown. The only drawback to this HI is the location.

When I stayed they had recently upgraded all their mattresses, which were feathertop. Otherwise, everything else was just middle of the road. The complimentary breakfast was nothing to shout about and the coffee was horrible. The staff was friendly enough but not as knowledgeable about the local area as I would have thought. The hotel is quite a way from the downtown if that is where you are headed. I would stay there again but would also not think twice about trying another hotel in the area.
