Good location

Stayed at this hotel over 4th of July weekend. The location is very convenient as it's two blocks from the Inner Harbor. Our room came with a refrigerator, a decent sized bathroom and a view of an alley.
There is a free continental breakfast each morning for about 2 hours which gets very crowded, and includes all of the basics (fruit, pancakes, sausage, muffins, coffee). Complimentary newspapers are also available in the lobby. There were a lot of kids at the hotel while we stayed there.
They have an average sized pool downstairs, which every time that I checked was usually filled with kids. There is also a business center with internet access (via 2 computers) although the connection is not very fast. The hotel also has a small fitness center, which consists primarily of cardio machines, so if you intend on lifting there, think again.
Overall, if you're looking for amenities, I would not recommend staying here but if you're on a budget and want to be close to everything, then this is a good option.
Close to the Inner Harbor

This was an upscale Hampton Inn. We had a 2 bedroom (queen beds) and sofa bed in our room. The room also had a microwave, refrigerator, sink and coffee pot. We were very pleased with the location, hotel, and staff. The hotel is 2 blocks from the inner harbor and about 7 blocks from camden yards. Everyone there made our stay a terrific one. The hotel has valet parking and when your leaving you just have to call down about 10 mins before and by the time you check out your car is waiting out front. The hotel also had a continental breakfast in the morning, small breakfast but it did the job.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn during our recent trip to Baltimore. This Hampton lived up to Hampton Inn expectations. The room was clean and well appointed. We had a 2 queen bed suite. The sofa bed was located in the same room as the two beds - there was not a separate room, which we would prefer. However, space comes at a premium in any city. Having the extra sleep space is a must when you have 3 kids. The breakfast included the usual continental items as well as scrambled eggs, ham, and buscuits. Overall, the breafast was good, not great, but good. I don't complain when I save having to feed a family of 5 in the morning! We did make use of the pool, which was clean, but small. The kids, of course, thought it was wonderful. The excercise facility included a treadmill, an elliptical machine, and one recumbent bike. There is free wirless internet, which is a bonus.
The best part of this hotel was its location. It is only 2 blocks from the Inner Harbor - shopping, dining, the National Aquarium, Maritime Museum, etc. We walked everywhere we wanted in the Harbor area. As for the valet parking, We opted to just park ourselves in the parking garage around the corner - it was $21 dollars per day, which saved $7 plus tip, and I knew exactly where my car was located. The garage was conveniently located right on our walk to the Harbor area.
Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a visit to Baltimore as a tourist. If you want luxury - then go luxurious and spend $500 or more a night. If you are happy with the Hampton Inn, which I am, then you will find this hotel up to par.

The hotel was very nice. The building itself is beautiful, the rooms are nice, the service was great and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Our only problem was in the valet service. The only parking option is to pay the valet $28 per day. The first problem was when we needed something out of the car. It took over a half hour to get a small item that we needed retrieved from the car. After arriving home from our trip, my friend noticed that there was a streak of yellow paint on the passenger's side of him BMW. He was NOT happy about it. For this reason alone, we will not return to this hotel.
