Deteriorating in service (at a minimum)

We've stayed there many times over the years and it is deteriorating fast. The rooms need minor upgrades, but the service staff need them badly (check-in, maid and breakfast).
The most aggravating was the breakfast. It is the typical (decent) Hampton continental fare, when the staff hasn't wiped it out it totally. And they won't get out of the way as they gobble it all up. And the folks that refill it won't do so until they're done eating their (your) breakfast.

I've stayed at a number of Hampton Inns and this one could use some TLC. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable and the room was damp; the air conditioner was loud and didn't work great. There is also no fitness center. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. In summary, it isn't bad, but could be better.

This is one of the most crappiest hotels I have ever stayed in. It makes the Hilton Family look horrible. It needs to be knocked down and start all over. The hotel employees were not in proper attire and staff was not very friendly. Just horrible, stay away from this place.

This Hampton Inn is probably one of the best ones that I have stayed at. It has just finished a complete renovation, and you can definitely tell. The rooms are beautiful, and the staff is great too!
The price was very reasonable and I only paid $79 per night. I had been staying at other area hotels in the past, and just was not too concerned to switch until one day when they oversold and had to move me to the Hampton Inn. Needless to say, I'm very glad it happened, and I will be staying here from now on.
If youre coming to Aiken, then you definitely want to stay here. Its right past the Mall of Aiken, with a lot of restaurants around it. You wont regret it.
