This Hotel is located directly across from the Festival House( on the main bus route through town- which is very helpful if taking public transportation from the bahnhof). Nice sized room and nice bathroom with a large shower and bath combo. As it was very warm, we were provided with a portable AC unit in our room without even having to ask. The hotel is just a beautiful 5 minute walk along the river to all Baden-Baden sites. Good hotel-would definitely stay here again.

Der Bayerische Hof ist okay, wenn man 1, 2 Nächte in Baden-Baden zu tun hat oder das Festspielhaus besucht. Die Qualität der Zimmer ist unterschiedlich (es wird allerdgings auf nicht renovierte Zimmer hingewiesen) und die Preise sind (wie üblich in Baden-Baden) komplett unangenmessen. Vorsicht im 3. stock wegen Dachschrägen. Prima renovierte Bäder in fast allen Zimmern. W-Lan kostenlos, aber leider nur im Rezeptions-Bereich. Ungemütlicher, zu kleiner Frühstücksraum und relativ liebloses, qualitativ minderwertiges Frühstück.

Location is OK, considering that everything is walking distance in Baden-Baden. Hotel closes its doors at 11 p.m. and make sure you take your keys with you!!! My mother and I left the hotel at 10 a.m., and I couldn't imagine that my 70 year old mother will never get tired, so I didn't expect to return after 11 p.m. Oh, well, we were 5 minutes late, had to call the manager to let us in. And was he angry! He called me "bad", and "very bad", said numerous "ai-ai-ai", that he was already asleep, and hates to get up to open the doors for unruly guests, and was very unpleasant. Also, you can't use the elevator after 11 p.m.
