We spent 5 days at Circa 39 early in July 08, the location was great, the pool, reception and bar area really nice however for me the rooms let me down. Dark hallways and very tired rooms - in our group of 6 all 3 rooms were not so great. A llick of paint, new bathrooms and carpets and this hotel would be fantastic! On a positive note the staff were helpful, breakfast was good, our room was clean and the beach access was great.

Just the right combination of the best of what Miami Beach has to offer and the right price. Circa 39 has the Modern Art Deco style to a science and the attendants are very helpful and friendly. The Outdoor beds by the pool is just the type of luxury and practicality that makes this quaint midsize hotel just what one needs for a Miami Beach getaway. Located minutes from South Beach but far enough that you're not bothered by the crowds 24/7. It is a formidable retreat from the Miami Beach retreat. My fiance' and I were quite impressed and would not go anywhere else when at MB.

My wife and I stayed at the Circa 39 for two nights in June. Circa 39 is OK. The rooms are clean, but very small and very plain. The location is not great. It is beach close, but a long walk, over 20 mins, to Ocean Blvd. in South Beach. The pool was nice, but right on a busy road. I wish hotels like Circa 39 would not charge resort fees, 10$ per person per day. It would be nice if it was just included in the price. The best thing about Circa 39 was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful.

Circa39 exceeded my expectations for the price range. Staff was extremely helpful with all my requests, room was prestine white and very clean, and the pool was very relaxing. I can't wait to go back! Far better than most much more expensive hotels in the area!!

My husband and I stayed at Circa 39 for 2 days at the beginning of June. The hotel foyer and pool area were lovely but when we were shown our room I was very dissapointed it was very dark and dingy. The washbasin had a crack in it and there was a broken window which had a cover over it. There was no lighting in hallways which made it seem very dark and depressing. I would never stay in this hotel again.
