22 of us arrived at the Santa Ana in the morning, checked in ok, had to wait about 5 hours for our rooms though, but didn't expect to get a room before midday.
Clean and tidy but a bit shabby but for the money we paid what did we expect! The pool is very small but the hotel is right on the beach so it didn't bother us too much.
All round ok, the only drawbacks were.......
The receptionist didn't put our passports on our room pigeon hole and upon checking out my room mates was lost. After searching like mad they eventually found it in with another families which we thought was discusting and to make matters worse we didnt even get an apology.
The first day the cleaners were in clothes went missing from my case and when I complained to the staff they did not want to know, i am not accusing the cleaners but it looked a bit suspicious as a few of our friends had things missing aswell.
Very noisy if you have a sea view room. I was directly above the front entrance and got woken up several times by young kids returning from nights out.
Other than this it was good value for money.........but you pay f0r what you get!!

We arrived at the Santa Ana by a 30min bus trip from the airport
(striaght forward No1 form Airport to Placa Easpana, then No 3 bus to 5 star NIxe hotel)
Reception is cleaned, very large but dated, they have a pool table and plenty of seating.
The receptionist was very helpful.
Room was clean and cleaned with fresh towels every day.
Food average but plentiful.
Evening entertainment not the best, bar has one barman serving at peak time so great a few drinks in.
Location for the beach is brillant, with a beach side cafe below the hotel serving lunch and drinks.
The sun lounges are 4 Euros for the day, sea safe with lifeguard on watch.
Nightlife: Local night spot called "Rockerfellas" guests get free entry and is a good night ( they have pool and table football)
Plama nightlife a 10min Taxi 15euros, be warned the Spanish do not start to party till after 12.00 and you will find it busy around the marina, Titos nightclub is a must, top tunes!!
Maguluf is not for the faint hearted and is a slice of Cheesey Britain.
During our stag weekender (Fri-Tue) we found the hotel very clean, great location for beach, far enough away from the manden crowd but not to far.
Overall if your loooking for a cheap weekend pick me up or party then the hotel will not disapoint.

just back form a 5 night break.at Hotel Santa Ana. on the first nite we walked over to the check in only to be told that they had no booking made for us until the next day. with this i produced my booking confirmation leaflet but the recptioist (male) would not help us in any way and told us to return the next day. this was at 11pm spanish time and we were exhausted after travelling all day. we continually pleaded with the receptionist but he was utterly rude towards us. eventually he just walked out of the hotel and left us with the night porter who spoke no english and continually shouted into our faces to get out.
I was so desperate i called the police and only then did we get a room.
i would not advise anyone to stay in this hotel.also, the hotel was booked out while we stayed and there was no other UK/Irish peolpe booked in. in my opinion - it solely accomodates those travelling from scandinavia/Germany.
