We had a great holiday at the Pyramisa Resort, the resort caters for all tastes whether you want a quiet relaxing holiday or something abit more upbeat, the food is good and the staff are great, look out for the Head Waiter Sharban in the Bora Bora restaurant he really looks after you, whilst your there make sure you visit one of the three beaches the marine life is fantastic. A great holiday.

Ok... an honest review...being in the travel industry myself and taking into account the fact that the cost of the holiday was good i found the hotel good at some things and bad at others...
Plus points***********
Hotel was clean and rooms very comfortable
Service from waiters excellent...(but i would tip..average wage of waiters is incredibly low and a pound tip is gratefully accepted)
location is fantastic 3 beaches on resort
snorkelling out of this world fish all colours at your feet as soon as you get in
local beer good
weather fantastic
bad points************
Food quality is poor take plenty of toilet roll
Drinks other than beer (local spirits) awful
Russians very rude even the germans were complaining!!!!
Entertainment was a russian girl screeching
Animation team are there but stage area no alcohol
No british reps
beer served in tiny white cups

Please avoid this hotel. we have been to Egypt on 2 previous occasions and had wonderful holidays both times in a 4* hotel.
This hotel was terrible. Food was so bad that we went into Nama Bay to eat every evening. We booked a hotel room but were given an apartment, the shower cubicle tray had been painted and the paint peeled off whilst we were showering and blocked the plug hole causing the bathroom to flood. The apartment door would not lock from the inside and even after maintenance had been to fix it it still would not work and there response was it is Kaput!. The beds are solid it is like sleeping on concrete. It does state that the resort is not suitable for people with mobility problems, we do not have mobility problems but found the amount of steps needed to reach the small pool or beach were even too many for us to find comfortable and people with children were put on the beach level which meant that they had to carry buggies upt the steps to the hotel level for food.
The staff were not helpful neither was the Rep (we booked with Olympic) when we asked about the restaurants he could not answer our queries.
I complained to both the Hotel and Olympic and I am still fighting out the compensation I feel we are owed for such a poor holiday.
don't go expecting 4* it is more of a 2* accomodation.

Fabulous resort. Spotlessly clean, great food, great restaurants. The staff were by far the best we have ever experienced - they cannot do enough for you. we felt like king & queen. Entertainment not fabulous but this is something they are trying to improve on but the facilities more than made up for it. We had a massage, turkish bath, used the gym, snorkeled and had more than enough to do - it truly was the best holiday we have ever been on.

This was the second time we have visited Sharm - last year we stayed at the Royal Rojana which had terrible reviews but we found them to be unfair as it was a very good hotel so I decided to not look for reviews on this hotel - big mistake !!
The hotel is definitely no where near a 5* - even our rep confirmed it was being sold incorrectly!! The hotel has seen better days - we had to remove the wardrobe doors as we could not open them. The pool looks fantastic but on closer inspection, lots of tiles are missing or broken.
The staff were quite ignorant unless you tipped them or complained - our room cleaner told me off for wearing face cream in bed as this was marking the pillow case !! The restaurants are too small for the size of the hotel and involved queues in the morning for breakfast and the restaurant staff trying to place you on a table with other people you did not know in order to reduce the queue,
I won't even go there on the food !! Suffice to say I had the delly belly badly for 5 days and still have problems now I am home. The rest of my party (5 others) all suffered to one extent or another and most of our all inclusive food came by way of special delivery from KFC and McDonalds whjo have a fantastic and very much needed delivery service to the hotel.
Shame - I love the country but will not go back until they sort themselves out and start to recognise that the brits need to be catered for alongside the Russians.
