We enjoyed our stay here, having chosen this hotel after reading reasonable reviews about it , and its proximity to the airport and train station. Room was quite small but no smaller than you'd expect from an airport hotel. Great shower and comfy beds. The train station is just around the corner, which is great if like us you have some time to explore Zurich city. There are also some shops around the hotel and places to get a drink. Opposite the hotel there's a great cafe (fantastic pastries and savoury snacks) - we opted for that instead of having breakfast in the hotel. Would recommend this hotel if you're in Zurich for a couple of nights, and would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in the Welcome Inn Hotel on 4June 2008. We had booked a triple bed room and I found the room to be quite small given that I had an elderly person with me. On enquiring this with the reception staff, they asked me to leave. I was quite shocked to hear such a comment which was further augmented when their Manager also said the same thing and passed a comment about the fact that I am indian. Further, the Manager refused to hear me and my wife and asked us to leave. It was a terrible experience and very poor service in an otherwise beautiful Switzerland.

The hotel staff was extremely rude. They kept laughing when we asked for a hot water kettle for our old mother who was travelling with us. The room was also very small and cramped, the hotel was far from the airport unlike what is written in their website and the shuttle bus is also avaiable only every half hour and is shared with other hotels. This is not communicated to the customer at the time of the booking. The manager of the hotel was also extremely rude and unpleasant to talk to. All in all, an unpleasant stay and not recommended for any age group.

This hotel provides a shuttle to and from Zurich Airport and that is why we selected this hotel. It is in a very quiet part of town but is near the train station. The room was just a basic 2 star hotel for accomodation but it had a wonderful shower and lovely duvets...toiletries included. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was one of the nicest meals we ate on this trip. The veal was excellent, the serfvice was very nice and the price was reasonable. Our bags were delayed arriving and the hotel stayed on top of the delivery schedule for us. Breakfast was not included and it was barely acceptable for price and menu...13 Euro per person. We would recommend this hotel for the proximity to the airport and also the free shuttle. It is just your basic accomodation and at 125CHF reasonable.

We stayed at this hotel because we wanted an early shuttle to the airport; it was an efficient place to stay for that purpose. It looks like they are doing some remodeling and our room had many new fixtures. The restaurant downstairs was fairly good for dinner.
