This hotel seems to cater to academic/business types. The staff were helpful and professional, and greeted us by name whenever we returned from a day of sightseeing. We stayed 3 nights in June - our family included 2 kids (ages 10 & 6). We were very pleased at the convenient location right across from the metro, and in a less-touristy location than near the major sites. It seemed a typical parisan neighborhood, with the wonderful Rue Daguerre (a pedestrian-only shopping area) around the corner.... so many wonderful shops and cafes. Plus we appreciated the spacious, quiet, and comfortable room which had A/C. The TV might not have worked but we didn't care. It was a good value (138 euros) for 4 people in Paris at high season. And, this particular metro line takes you straight to the CDG airport without any changes. The only downside is that yes, you need to use the metro or other transport to get around to the major sites. But this is the trade-off for staying is a less-touristy area and paying less for this good of a place. We'd definately stay here again. The sooner the better!

Perfectly adequate hotel, handy for both CDG and Orly.
The hotel is in a decent area with many bars, cafes and resataurants in walking distance.
Transport links to the rest of the city are excellent.
Room was clean and modern, bath, TV, fridge etc.
Cons:
Tiny elevator, only good for one person with light luggage.
The walls are paper thin, constantly disturbed by people in adjoining rooms and they were not doing anything unreasonable!!!!

I was very satisfied with this hotel.
The double rooms are large and confortable
and can be reached directly from the CDG airport
with RER ligne B. Ask for a room with a view on the Eiffel tower.
