Stayed at this charming little hotel for the weekend with my 12year old daughter. It was our first visit to paris and the hotel was perfect. Fantastic postion so close to the eiffel tower, and so safe, we walked back just before midnight and felt very at ease as it was so close. Great little cafe and pizza resturant on the corner of the main street, and a supermarket within 5 mins walk too, so you can top up on bottles of water, french stick etc before you start your exploration of this fabulous city. Hotel room was small, we were onthe 4th/top floor, but its an old french building, and they have had to squeeze in our modern day desire for en-suite facilities! It would be no different in any other major european city, unless you went for a modern corperate style hotel, paid loads more for it, and would wake up in the morning not knowing which city you were in!
The staff were very friendly, the room clean, the location brilliant, it may not have 5star facilities but it ticks the boxes in so many other ways. we are already planning our return!

I stayed here for a long weekend with my husband in June and I have to say it was great.
The location of thie hotel is brilliant. About a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and the metro stop is just around the corner. Although their website tells you that Dupliex is the closest metro stop, I would think it's the Bir-Hakeim stop.
The rooms were simple but since we were out and about in Paris most of the time, they served their purpose. (will try to post pictures as soon as I can)
One thing that I have to mention here too is the cutest Italian restaraunt jsut down the road called Pizza di Napoli. We ate there almost every night! Brilliant food and amazing service. You have to go!
This hotel is perfectly located for those who like to spend their holidays roaming the streets of Paris. It is close to everything yet far enough from eveything to escape the ridiculously expensive prices.
I would definitely stay here again!

Before booking this trip, I read the reviews on the France Eiffel and decided to give it a try. I wouldn't stay there again. It wasn't completely awful or anything but our room stank like smoke - regardless of how many times we opened the window. The bathroom was quite small which I didn't mind at all but when taking a shower, by the end of it I was standing in ankle deep water which was not pleasant to say the least. Then, on our checking out, we were accused of taking a beer from the fridge - which we did NOT! The receptionist did not believe us but as I kept saying "no, we did not take a beer when there is much cheaper beer 5 minutes from the hotel", she cancelled it. The look on her face was none too happy about it though. All in all, it was about what I expected but I wouldn't stay there again - the shower did it in.

When we booked our stay at this hotel i came online to find reviews and found a mixed bag so I felt I should defend the hotel and give my opinion. Many people complain about the small rooms however I found our room to be totally adequate for our needs and it was perfectly clean and tidy also the breakfast was lovely and fresh.
The reception staff were fantastic. They spoke great english and really made an effort to help you with anything at all, which was a great help for us trying to work out the Metro.
The hotel is also in a fantastic place. It was great to step outside the hotel at night and see the eiffel tower lit up and so close. It was five minutes walk away from the Seine and tower and the Dupleix station was a short walk up the road.
I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to travel to Paris on a bit of a budget. Anyone expecting luxury however will just have to pay more! Yes, it is a little basic but in Paris all you need a room for is sleeping and washing and it suited us perfectly.

This is lovely little hotel and is very reasonably priced. It has basic facilities which you would expect for the price but the real pleasure about this hotel is its staff. They speak very good english and help you out with all your trip planning and advice on where to see and go.
The only one negative about the hotel (or it may have just been our room) was that the heating didnt work as well as you would want at night so it was rather cold. however, there were extra blankets and so not really too much of a problem. it also encouraged close snuggling.
Overall a very satisfying stay at the France Eiffel Hotel!!
