The Schweiz Hotel was in a great location, very close to the train station. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. We received a good discounted price from an internet company that I wasn't familiar with but they turned out to be fine. The Schweiz hotel offered a very nice buffet breakfast included in the price and the lobby offered free coffee and tea throughout the day. I would highly recommend this budget hotel for cleanliness, courteous staff and great location. My son particularily enjoyed the sauna room. The only drawbacks would be that it is located on a busy and sometimes noisy street and there wasn't any air conditioning but the weather was cool so it wasn't needed anyway.

My sister and I stayed here for two nights on our way to Berchtesgaden and Zell am See. Now this a budget hotel so if you are staying in Munich for the week or are looking for somthing very fancy, the Schweiz is not advised. Reception staff very helpful and friendly but little things like the tiny elevator, dodgy water vending machine and 15inch room televisions remind you that you're staying budget. Rooms can get noisy with windows open but once closed, the sound is not too bad at all. I found the beds a bit on the soft side and the pillows were bloody awful - you know the ones that are TOO soft so that your head is swallowed up by them. In the end, I did without. The area around the hotel is busy and feels quite safe but is a little drab and occasionally seedy - 'SexyLand' strip club is only five mins up the street. If that's your thing. Nevertheless, the excellent Marienplatz with good restaurants, music and train station is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel past SexyLand, as far as location goes, this hotel is spot-on. I just wouldn't fancy spending a whole week there. It's just too ordinary.

This Hotel was within walking distance to the main train station in Munich. I felt that the staff was friendly and our room was clean. For the price this hotel was a bargain. I would definitly stay here again for a short or long stay.

L’albergo è raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione centrale di Monaco. Il personale mi è sembrato cortese e la nostra camera era pulita. Visto il prezzo è stato un affare. Ci tornerei sicuramente sia per un soggiorno breve che per uno lungo.
