I have been to France 5 times over the past 3~4 years and each time I have stayed in Chamonix, I feel its' the best hotel around at that price. Good Location Close to the Metro, nice area to walk around in the evening. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner. KETAN JANI

After seeing a few other reviews, I got scared this place would be horrible. It certainly wasn't! The whole hotel has been recently renovated - they were still putting in new light fixtures when we were there. VERY courteous folks at the desk, VERY conveniently located next to the Bonne Nouvelle Metro stop - making it very easy to get around. It's in a cute neighborhood with a lot of movie theaters. I recommend Cafe Rendezvous across the street, ask for Lorien. She was super friendly and speaks great English. This was a much larger hotel than we had in London, for a little less money. They also have an elevator, making it easy to get bags up and down. I didn't try the breakfast or use the bar, but I knew both were available. Don't be dissuaded by the other, older reviews. Whatever they say is no longer correct. This place was a great find!

Orripilante, una esperienza agghiacciante. Sporco, rumoroso, in uno stato di degrado inaccettabile. Non capisco come possa essere un hotel tre stelle e come le agenzie turistiche possano proporlo. Una cosa indecente. State lontani sopratutto se avete dei bambini e ci tenete all'igiene!!!!

Hotel is next to a nightclub which pumps out deep base African music we were in room 17 on first floor which was noisy, it looks as though hotel has been refurbished thoough not finished, parts of the hotel are dirty, corridors, bathrooms have pipes chopped off and not capped, if not down to breakfast before 09.00 choice is limited even further!!

la chambre était petite, avec un ménage perfectible, des meubles vieux et usé; Le carrelage de la salle de bain datant des années 60 l'etait tout autant. La Clim ne fonctionnait pas. Fréquentant régulièrement des hotel bas de gamme et 2** de chaine, par comparaison je ne vois pas comment une classification de 3*** est possible.
