I have now stayed at this conveniently located hotel twice. The first time I luckily stumbled on it down the narrow sidestreet from the station. From here you are on the edge of the 'old city' (downhhill), making it within easy walking distance of all the major sites - and easy to leave from the station. The rooms are excellent value compared to the less expensive but quite poor pensions in the area. My room was comfortable, with good aircon and bath. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Genoa.

Cela fait maintenant deux fois que je vais dans cet hôtel, opportunément situé près de la gare. Je l’ai découvert par hasard en empruntant une petite rue étroite à côté de la gare. Il se trouve à la limite de la vieille ville (en contrebas), donc pas loin à pied des sites principaux, et la proximité de la gare est un plus. Les chambres sont excellentes pour le prix comparé aux pensions du coin, moins chères mais médiocres. La mienne était confortable, avec un bon climatiseur et une bonne salle de bains. Je logerai certainement ici la prochaine fois que n’irai à Gênes.

Sono stato due volte in questo albergo ben ubicato. La prima volta l'ho trovato per caso nella strada stretta vicino alla stazione. È a lato del centro storico (in discesa), cosa che rende tutto facilmente raggiungibile a piedi - e la stazione è molto vicina. Le camere hanno un eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo rispetto alle pensioni economiche ma molto mediocri della zona. La mia camera era confortevole, con una buona aria condizionata e un buon bagno. Ci tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta a Genova.

I liked the Europa Hotel, very near the station in a very narrow street. Be careful if you arrive by car because the street is almost invisible. The breakfast is good and the rooms are clean. Overall, it is cheap. The surroundings are like all Genoa. You can find what you want but it is interesting.
