"My husband and I have just returned from 5 days in the Dorint Novotel Don Giovanni and we had a wonderful time. OK this hotel is not in the city centre but the Metro is so close as to be no problem at all. The stop is Zelivskeho on the green line and take the Dejvicka direction getting off at Muzeum..."

The only real problem with this hotel is its location. You are near a subway, which will whisk you to down town, but if you are staying in this beautiful city, why not stay down town where there are plenty of sights and hotels? The room was clean and adequate, staff friendly and buffet breakfast good. If the price for this hotel is much better than downtown and you don't mind the commute, then you will like this place. Real problem is that there is not much close here in the way of places to eat or things to do. Can't really knock the hotel.

Stayed in this hotel two nighst due to a seminar. The room earns thanks for spaciousness, and in 10.th floor it was peaceful. It was a non-smoking room but smelled like an old ashtray anyway. Staff was ok, but never smiled, and you can see 4 receptionists just gossiping and nothing happens. Don't leave your postcards to the concierce: she wants 25 corunas for each and a stamp really costs 17 to Europe and 18 outside Europe! The hotel is far away, byt metro connection is convenient and fast. There are no supermarkets nearby so buy what you need in downtown.
