Room was clean - bathroom was huge by European standards. Street was very noisy at night and since there was no air conditioning, sleeping with the windows open was a bit of a challenge. Also seemed a bit smoky and a few mosquitos got in the room. Breakfast was ok - cereal, breads with spreads and coffee. However, the location was ideal - easy walking distance to the art museums, the Duomo, and other major sites.

When we arrived at the hotel it took us about 3 attempts of ringing the bell to get buzzed in. TINY lift! The man at reception didn't give us any information (breakfast times etc). The corridor and the room stank of cigarette smoke. The room itself was at least clean. However, in Feb it was COLD!! The street below is very noisy right through the night and the shutters did not shut out the light (or noise!). The bathroom is tiny. The breakfast- very very basic. We bought food at the supermarket below and ate that instead! Not value for money- we stayed in much better hotels in Venice and Pisa for the same price. (It is close to the duomo though!)

This is a nice 2star hotel with average facilities. However, the people are quite helpful and friendly, so that you really enjoy your stay with them. The breakfast was included in our package and was quite OK and you may call it reach for a 2star hotel's breakfast. The location of the hotel is quite good as it is just near the Medici Chapel and Duomo. There is even a super market just next door to the hotel. Within 1 min walking there is also a square with many cheap but good restaurants.
