Was a good hotel, very clean and welcoming. We had a triple room for 3 adults, all beds comfortable. Room looked newly decorated, new bathroom. Was 10 mins from station which was great for visiting Cinque Terre. Also 5 mins the other way to beach and town. Breakfast, buffet style and lots of it. Great coffee.

L’hotel Carla si trova a Levanto, un piccolo paesino lungo una strada tranquilla a circa 10 minuti a piedi dal mare. L'albergo si trova in un vecchio edificio che è stato recentemente ristrutturato. La camera era di dimensioni medie, molto accogliente, pulita e con un piccolo balcone; anche il bagno era piccolo, ma pur sempre adeguato. Sebbene il menu non offrisse molta scelta, c’erano solo due cose tra cui si poteva scegliere per primo e per secondo, si mangiava benissimo e i vini non costavano troppo. C’era anche un piccolo bar e un bel salottino. Le macchine possono essere parcheggiate lungo la strada, che è molto tranquilla, immediatamente fuori dall’hotel. Tutto il personale è sempre stato cordiale e disponibile. Levanto è un paese di villeggiatura di dimensioni medie con un’ottima spiaggia, un bel lungomare e un porticciolo moderno. La sua ubicazione è perfetta per visitare i porti delle Cinque Terre in barca, in treno o a piedi.

The Hotel Carla is in the small resort of Levanto, on a quiet street about 10 minutes stroll to the sea. It is an older building but has recently been refurbished, our room was average size, very comfortable and clean with a small balcony and a very small but adequate bathroom. Although the menu is limited, two choices for first and second courses, the food was excellent and the wines very reasonably priced. There is a small bar and a nice seating area. Cars can be parked on the very quiet street outside the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Levanto is a very nice medium sized resort, with a good beach, a nice promenade and a modern marina. It is ideally situated to visit the ports of the Cinque Terre either by boat, train or on foot.

Seit Jahren verbringen wir immer mal wieder unsere Herbstferien im Carla. Jedesmal sind wir begeistert von der tollen Küche. Mamma Carla scheut keinen Aufwand. Ihr Essen ist absolut unerreicht! Ausserdem sind alle Leute des Hotels ausserordentlich kinder- und tierfreundlich, man fühlt sich wirklich als willkommener Gast. Die Zimmer sind sauber und nett. Wir werden weiterhin unsere Herbstferien dort verbringen, hoffentlich noch 100 Jahre lang!
