One Half Star at Best!

First of all Hotwire classified this hotel as a two star, so when I accepted the price, was shocked to find that this was the hotel! Let's see:
1) No ice or icemaker on premises
2) 11:00 AM Check-Out
3) Parking was a mess
4) No visitors allowed
5) No iron/ironing board/hair dryer
6) Ghetto part of Sunset Blvd.
7) Outside of motel looked run--down
8) Totally overpriced for what you get!
9) Smallest room I have ever stayed in--not even a small table
10) No coffee
You are better off staying at a Motel 6 or Days Inn. At least they would have basic amenities. The price was NOT a two-star price either....$79

We arrived late in the evening only to find that this is not a hotel but rather a motel where the crack addicts take thier cheap hookers. Our shower curtain was full of mold, there was a door in the bedroom that lead who knows where that did not lock, a small table had been strategically placed in front of it. As soon as I turned on the tv my children and I came face to face with hard core porn. The least the receptionist could have done was issue a warning as he saw plain as day that I had childen with me. The heater did not work and there were cigarette burns in what little bedding we did have (a nasty dirty comforter and a sheet). We left in middle of the night because my children were very uncomfortable and could not possibly sleep there. Had we not have already prepaid we would have driven away immediatly.

Don't Stay Here New Management Are Jerks

This used to be a really decent hotel-small-just a few units-large, comfortable rooms, everything worked, there was AC, plenty of cable and friendly and knowledgeable desk help. Prices were very reasonable. No longer. The new manager, a foreigner probably from some middle eastern country, is a complete jerk and he'll jack you around and lie about prices. Weekly rates were $395 which was reasonable but now those rates are $445 and the kicker is an extra person will cost you an additional $100 bringing the price to $545. That's not a justifiable jump from $395 in a matter of a few short weeks-nothing has changed and you don't even have a pool for that price. Daily rates were $60-65 plus tax which was very acceptable but now the new manager/owner will attempt to squeeze every last cent from you he can. In person the rate for two was $80 plus tax (again quite a jump from 60-65) and by telephone the price for the same room jumped to $90. Stay away from this lying jerk. If it weren't for the new management, I would guess this would still be a decent hotel. As it is now, I highly advise you to stay away.
