We went there as a second choice, being unable to get any confirmation from the Alcazar hotel for a room they had offered. Well, we did not regret it at all. The location is much better, bang inside the old walls, a few minutes from the aqueduc (instead of one mile!), the staff was wonderful and helpful. We had forgotten to ask for garage parking (big mistake!), and garage was full, they let us park in front of the hotel, and looked after our car. For free. The hotel apparently re-opened in 2006 following extensive renovation, I think it is why it is not listed yet in most guidebooks. It is officially a 3-star hotel, but of similar quality to the 4-star places we had elsewhere in our trip. The room was really nice modern design. It is not particularly cheap, to say the least, but in terms of price for value I strongly recommend it.

Mi marido y yo nos alojamos tres noches en este hotel y estuvimos encantados durante toda nuestra estancia. Estaba muy bien situado ya que era perfecto para ir andando a todos los lugares turísticos. El hotel en si mismo era realmente bonito. La fachada es antigua pero el interior ha sido renovado recientemente con lo que dispone de todos los servicios y es muy confortable. El hotel estaba muy limpio; las habitaciones eran amplias, con camas muy cómodas. Lo que nos impresionó realmente fue el estupendo servicio tanto por parte del personal y de la dirección como de las camareras en la cafetería. Nos sentimos bien recibidos y magníficamente atendidos en todo momento, ya fuera para consultar dónde ir o para pedir que se hicieran cargo de nuestro coche y que lo aparcaran en el parking subterráneo. Sin lugar a dudas nos alojaríamos en este hotel de nuevo y se lo recomendamos a todo el que visite la maravillosa ciudad de Segovia.

My husband and I stayed three nights at this hotel and were thoroughly pleased with it. It was in a great location...perfect for walking to all the attractions. The hotel itself was beautiful. The exterior is antique, but the interior has recently been renovated, and is fully modernized and comfortable. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms large with very comfortable beds. What really impressed us was the great service from the hotel staff and management, from the Director to the waitresses at the cafe. Whether it was advice on where to go, to actually parking our car in the underground parking deck for us, we felt welcome, and taken care of. We would definately stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the lovely city of Segovia.

Disappointing. The room fantastic, but the staff was extremely rude. If you don´t want to be accused of stealing (without explanation and without making any previous comprobation of what you are being accused of it´s true) please, DON´T GO to San Facundo Hotel.
