I’ve booked that hotel through the internet. We had to stay at hotel from May 9 till May 17. After reading review I’ve decided to rent an apartment instead, it was great idea as I understood after all. The thing is that I’ve canceled my reservation on March 18 (in advance) and according to cancellation policy without any penalty. I was “surprised” when I’ve checked my credit card account and I saw that I was charged for non showing up (2 nights). On the negative side I tried to contact management (sending faxes, writhing letters, calling reception) I didn’t get any explanaition….nothing. So If you don’t want to have someone “playing” with your credit card don’t book room at the Hotel du Theatre.

We stayed here last year and after a long flight from Australia, it was an absolute pleasure to be greeted by a friendly face (by the way, the rumours about all Parisians being rude isn't true). The room was small but you expect that in much of Europe. It was clean and quiet. Hotel staff were without exception friendly and helpful. And breakfast in the very charming cellar was a great start to the day

Small but nice hotel. VERY GOOD ATTENTION AND SERVICE. It has a good location that completes a good price / performance. My pick was from an internet search.

We spent a couple of days in Paris last week and we stayed at the Hotel du theatre, on the recommandation of a friend. We were not desappointed at all. Very warm welcome by a very professional staff. A lot of advices regarding typical restaurant in Paris Very well located in Paris, near buses and tubes Shall we return? Without any doubt.

i really enjoyed the area with its restaurants ( go to "a table"), the cosy atmosphere of the hotel and the rooms, wich are clean, not so small for paris and really calm!!! we will go back!
