I stayed at the Roma Sacre Coeur for four nights from June 2 to June 5. I thought it was very good value. The hotel is in a great location, less than thirty seconds from the Lamark-Calaincourt metro station, and in a very nice neighbourhood of Montmatre. Our twin room was tiny, with barely enough room for the two single beds, but it also had it’s own bathroom, a mini fridge, and a television. There was a great view to the north of Paris, and a funky mural was painted over a whole wall. Everything worked well, and the bathroom was clean. The room was on the sixth (seventh to us North American) floor, so I was glad there was a working elevator. The hotel desk staff was always polite, and went about their job efficiently. The neighbourhood is really good, with lots of local stores and restaurants to choose from. There is a Franprix grocery store about seven or eight minutes away, along with several bakeries. Eating out in Paris can be expensive, but take a short walk to the tourist zone near Sacre Coeur and you can get a complete meal (starter, main, and dessert) for as little as 12 Euros – and it’s good! From this hotel you can be downtown in fifteen or twenty minutes on the subway. The Metro is cheap too – 10 rides cost only eleven Euros.

I can definately recommend this hote, how ever very noisy and had terrible pillows I stayed in a tiny room on the third floor. Everything from the frontdesk, the dnning room of the building was small
I am nota fan of the continential breakfast, so i baught some food and stored it in the mini bar which was a bonus. it is only about 50 metres from the metro
nowlets start on the decore, rather outdtaed and quirky on the floors was the carpet -(i swear it looked like astro turf). and the walls were painted bright colours with flowers painted onto each door, a bit of hippy hotel.
the night shift man on the front desk was rtaher nice, but the the day shift man was rather moody.
apart from the that it was fantastic my room was clean, just a tad small.

We stayed here over the weekend and was very supprised at how good this 2 star hotel is. Our room on the 6th floor had a good view over parts of paris, the room looked like it had been done up recently, the bathroom was also new. Its right by the metro and there are plenty of good bars and cafes right by. And its 3-5mins walk to Sacre Coeur. No need to opt for breakfast.
We paid 70 euros for a double which was very good i thought!!!
Reception was also very helpfull and spoke English.
All in all and great spot i thought.
