We arrived pretty early in the morning off the overnight Lusitania train from Madrid and the gentleman at the desk made us reasonably comfortable while we waited for a room to become available (we had of course made a booking, which he confirmed). Within an hour, we were settled in our room (large-ish, twin beds, good bathroom, clean) showered and had plenty of time for a day's sightseeing. This hotel is very good value and the location is not bad. It is possible to walk into town (mostly downhill), but in any case Parque Metro station is literally across the road. The breakfast I would say is good for a budget hotel - the usual rolls, butter, spreads and coffee, plus cold meats, cereal, yoghurts and cheese if you want. Plenty of everything. You can order "extras" such as eggs at a charge if you want something more substantial. TV in the room has a couple of English-speaking channels (BBC etc.) if you're keen to keep up with the news. We would certainly choose to stay here again for our next visit to Lisbon

Nice budget option, simple and basic, located just seconds away from Parque metro station, takes only few minutes to the city center.

Sencillo. En un portal de 8 plantas en el cual hay algún vecino más en otros pisos.Limpio.Habitación con dos camitas, armario y WC con bañera y bidet. Funciona el agua caliente y aire acondicionado. Recepción,salita y bar muy pequeñitos. Ascensor muy viejo pero funcionando. Desayuno poco variado pero suficiente. Pero LO MEJOR su situación...cuando sales de la parada de metro PARQUE sólo hay que cruzar la carretera (20 m). Perfecto como punto de partida si lo que buscas es conocer Lisboa y sólo necesitas una habitación para descansar y lavarte sin necesidad de grandes lujos. Si esta libre pide la 803, con gran terraza y buenas vistas al parque de Eduardo VII.

A very last minute booking for two nights in Lisbon. I asked for a double room with a double bed - my room was very tiny I could not open the luggage on the floor. The most awful view from my window, hidden by a colorful curtain: on the 6th floor of the building, I got the ceiling with antenna and satellite disk, and the Excelsior view just in the horizon...Communication with hotel staff was awful either, with me begging for info on how/where/when to get a modest breakfast (included). Parque metro just in front, good for travelers without transports, on a budget holiday.

I only stayed at the hotel for a night, but it was excellent value for money, especially for European capital hotel! I did stay in off-peak period, and therefore there was no fighting involved when it came to the breakfast buffet! There was a wide selection of food, including cereals, hot milk and coffee, scrambled eggs and bacon, orange juice, yogurts etc. The room was very clean, and the bathroom absolutely huge in comparison to the majority of other hotels, as well as having a bath as well as a shower! Would definately recommend the hotel for your basic stayover where you are not expecting any frills or fancies, and the staff were really friendly and answered all queries.
