Hotel arley is built in an ancient palace, and its structure is nice, with wooden stairs and high structure. Is near to tube station Dupleix, near to most important Paris monuments (few metres far from Eiffel Tower).
Rooms are small but full of light, cleaned and comfortable, with big windows, a little fridge under the desk and an armchair in the corner.
Breakfast is tasty and abundant, and staff is very kind: the lady in reception, like her colleagues, speaks french slowly, so that people that don't speak french well can understand. They are very nice: we have had a problem with elevator and they have shown a big patience.
If I had to criticize something about this hotel I would say: "Staff doesn't speak italian," but it is a typical problem (in France and worldwide...)

We just returned from a 10-day stay in Paris. Our stay at the Hotel Arley was overall a pleasant experience. We stayed on the 6th floor, on the front side of the hotel. While it was a little noisy at night when the bars closed due to pedestrian traffic, that is no fault of the hotel. The staff was always extremely helpful and polite, offering suggestions for places to eat and the best routes to major Paris attractions. Our room was cleaned every day (and I feel bad for the cleaning lady because we didn't make it easy unfortunately) and we always had fresh towels. The rooms are typical European hotel rooms - a bit on the small side with smaller bathrooms. But let's be honest - you're in Paris to see the sights, not spend the day in your hotel room.
The hotel is a short 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and less than 10 minutes to get to the Dupliex Metro Station on the # 6 line. You can easily connect to other lines within minutes. There are plenty of decent options for dining surrounding the hotel. I actually suggest going past the hotel on Rue Viala (away from the Metro station) and walking down the street on the left to find several great options. There's a bakery across the street from the hotel and a market next door for quick snack options.
Overall, this was a decent hotel for the advertised price. They had free internet in the lobby (Wi-Fi is costly and didn't work 100% of the time) and a very attentive staff. Paris is expensive enough as it is - don't waste your money on the high priced hotels when all you need is a place to rest your head at the end of a long day of walking!

YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! This was the WORST place on earth. It was not fit for a DOG! Dirty! Mouldy! Smelly! What a SHOCKING way to see Paris on our around the world honeymoon. DO NOT believe ANY good reviews on this hotel. It should be CONDEMMED!!!!!!!!
Staff represent the stero-typical rude, arrongant French. This place makes my skin crawl, even months after returning home!!!!

I stayed there for two nights, June 19 and 20. I had room 515 with a GREAT view of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is a quick walk from the Dupliex metro station, and the Tower is a short and pleasant walk away as well. The bakery across the street makes the most perfect croissants and sandwiches. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel but opted for the bakery's options instead! The hotel is run by a wonderful ,warm woman, who welcomed both me and my friends (who had 2 kids) very warmly. There is a computer in the lobby for easy internet access. The room was spotless, which is something I don't always find with 3 star hotels in Paris. There are plenty of places to eat in the neighbourhood. Reasonably priced, I'd stay here again, definitely.

We stayed at the Arley in the beginning of August. There were 5 of us in two rooms.
The hotel is a nice little family-run establishment. It's not "posh" but it's not a "dive" either. Our room was clean and comforable, and had an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower.
We read reviews ahead of time and didn't have the €8 breakfast, but the owner was quite generous in providing us free coffee (that's all we really wanted). In fact, the owner was very kind and helpful throughout our stay.
The elevator is very small (3 people, at the most, if they don't exhale), which made it a little difficult to ferry luggage up to the rooms, but we didn't see "American" size elevators anywhere in Europe (so that's not uncommon).
The Dupleix Métro station is close, but not THAT close. It's a good 2 block walk. If you're in shape and don't mind walking, it's not bad. If walking is an issue, plan alternate arrangements. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, the Métro doesn't really save you much time (or walking, for that matter) in going to the Eiffel Tower. You could easily walk the distance in ~15-20 minutes or so from the hotel and take in the neighborhood along the way (it's a 5-10 minute walk to the tower from the Bir-Hakeim station anyway, one stop down from Dupleix)
The bakery across the street had incredible breads, and the Alsacienne Boulangerie around the corner had unbelievably good pastries. There was a farmer's market under the Dupleix station on Sunday, not to be missed!
Overall a decent hotel and definitely worth your consideration. We found the best rates directly on the hotel's site. It's worth (in my opinion) the extra €10 for a room with a view.
