Para mi esto no puede llevar el nombre de hotel y si de motel, hostal. Y llamarle hostal es deshonrrar a los hostales buenos que hay por ahí. La recepcionista una maleducada. Teníamos problemas para entender su español y se burlaba. La habitación pequeña, con un armario solo para colgar dos prendas, el minibar con hielos todos podridos, y con un abridor de botellas todo oxidado. La moqueta con manchas. El cabecero de la cama lleno de polvo. Estabamos en el último piso y se oia el ruído de la calle un montón. La loza del baño antiquada. Cutre, olía a viejo, fatal, menos mal que solo fué una noche. Lo único que vale la pena son las vista de Coimbra por la noche en la terraza, y el desayuno buffet, muy completo, con cantidad y buena atención de las chicas que lo preparaban. Por lo demás muy caro para lo que es. 53 euros.

I was a bit wary of the Coimbra hotel based on other reviews, but the place was great for the one night we stayed there. We had a room on the top floor with a balcony - the double doors separated us from any street noise. Beds were comfortable, not the sagging disaster most of europe enjoys. Beers in the mini bar were cheap. Parking cost an extra 3 euros for the night, no biggie. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. Found it to be a great hotel for the price.

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel, and I have been very disappointed. First, on theirs web site is said that they have a garage, but arriving at the hotel after a 3 hours trip by car I found that what they described as parking was not free... what it's the point of saying that they provide a service (that others hotels in town give it free) when it's not free, more: the garage it's not owned by the hotel, so they aren't really providing the service! And the rudeness of the employee... Second: when I arrived there was no water, and the room... Small, small, small... With proportionally small closets (also very small). When I tried to forget all this nuisances with a TV, it was not working! Well I went to sleep, but the bed only had sheets, not even a thin little blanket... At least it had pillows. Well, one of the worst hotels I haven been.
