This has to go down as one of the worst experiences ever! I'm not a fussy person but this on the whole was an awful 'hotel'. Room was clean enough, v. basic which wasn't a problem. but with cooking facilities at one-end of the room it's obvious it was once self-catering accommodation. Rooms were cleaned a couple of times a week, clean towels every second day, bedlinen only changed the once and that was the day before we left! Oh yes, and bed's weren't made as a daily rule - maybe we were unlucky with the cleaning staff. Restaurant , I recommend you get in early as it gets busy as the service goes on. Lots of ignorant people and kids with no manners pushing and shoving to get to the food, plates etc. Food of average standard - fine if you like chips with everything, soggy veg, burgers, meat dripping in grease etc. Staff in restaurant did work very hard to keep tables cleared. Entertainment was aimed at kids - adult entertainment was juvenile to say the least. We went out of complex for entertainment. At nights on returning to the hotel the bar area was always full of drunk, loud mouthed teenagers. I've been a/i before but this was the worst! Resort itself is very quiet with not much to do. The usual tourist shops full of holiday tat which after you've walked round them once becomes monotonous. A few nice bars but the only entertainment some put on was karaoke which isn't everyone's idea of fun. O'Donnells and Rock-Cola were the only 2 I could see that put on live entertainment and shows. I won't be returning!!!

This hotel was excellent. Much more than we had expected. It had just been extensively refurbished and was looking lovely. The pool areas were imaqulate and were cleaned every morning. Only thing....if your wanting a sun lounger you have got to be prepared to be out there before 7am. The grounds were kept lovely and there was always a gardener pottering about somewhere. Food was lovely, always a good selection, although it could be repetative. Towels were changed 3 times during our one week stay so that was good. Evening entertainment was brilliant, aimed for children mainly but brilliant none the less. Entertainment finished at 10.45 which was a bit of a shame but the bar didnt close till 11.45pm. There was another bar which opened till 12pm - 3am but that wasnt all inclusive. The nearest beach is about a 5 minutes walk but be prepared to walk down lots of stairs. Not ideal if you have a buggie, which we found out. Beach was lovely although the sea was full of rocks. There is another beach which was just a beautiful. There is a train/bus that comes every hour at the stop outside the hotel and is only 3.50 euro per adult return. Definately worth using as it is quite a walk away. If you are wanting to use a cash machine be prepared for a bit of a walk as there wasnt one on site. All in all we had a fantastic time, weather was excellent all week and hotel was brilliant. Would definately recommend it. Ideal for famillies and older couples.

I have just returned from this hotel today, after a really good holiday. We had originally been booked into canriouse park hotel with bookable holidays, however when we arrived we were told, after waiting in a long line at check in the hotel was full and they had booked us in at the Eurocalas (all big holiday company customers were still being booked into canarious park) They did pay for our taxi round the corner though to the euro calas ( big of them). Anyway on arrival at the eurocalas we checked in but the room was not ready (we got there about twelve and check in not untill 2.00) They gave us our wrist bands and we had a wander round, At first the hotel looks small with only one little pool, but after 5 mins we realized it was a big complex with 3 clean and good pools. Our room was basic and a little small but clean and comfortable, we had clean towels every other days and the maids cleaned about 3 times during our weeks stay. excellant for kids, it was our first time away with our 2yr old daughter and she loved it especially the pools and the entertainment. If you have little ones go for dinner at seven then get a table near the stage (they get taken early) Food and drinks were very good for a 3 star with loads of choice and a microwave near the bread to warm it up as sometimes food was not very hot. During the week we stayed sun beds were in short supply people putting towels on before going to bed, however the day before we left hundreds were delivered and there were plenty for everyone. Overall we really enjoyed this holiday, only stayed a week, would have been a bit repetative and boring if stayed 2 weeks, but excellant value for money.

Well I started my holiday with my girlfriend on a bad note when thomas cook who we booked with overbooked us at the Samoa hotel. We were then told we were going to be staying at the Euro Calas. When the sun eventually came up we took a look around the place and it had all the right facilities you need for a good holiday. Upside: The food had a lot of variety when I went. I fink sometimes people will find anything to moan about when they say it was the same every night. It was really clean and the cleaners were quick and prompt when cleaning the room. The hotel had a sufficient amount of pools with a main pool and 3 little side pools for children, but deep enough for adults!! It was 10 minuts walk from Calas de Mallorca and about 15 minutes from the beach. We visited a good kareoke bar in Calas centre called " Dalfil's Bar." Its a proper laugh!! the bar staff were friendly and helpful and always there to keep a drink in your hand. haha. Also apart the hotel being good you have to go out and go on some trips of the island. the waterpark in Arenal is brill. a definate recommend! Of course there were a few downsides, as does every holiday, but they were jus that the reception staff. . . . also the entertainment wasn't amazing but when u've had a bit to drink it seems good. So i would definitely recommend this hotel and book it with thomas cook because the rep there was really helpful and always on hand to help and she dealt with our problems of transfers and other things, rather than us, so we could enjoy and kick back and relax. her name was Caz!!! also thanks to the thomas cook reps on the magaluf bar crawl. . . .
