Spent two nights - bad sound isolation, owners don't get out of their skin to help you. They like your money though. Owners don't reply by e-mail. Breakfast is pretty bad choice, the next morning we got bread from previous day. Good thing there is a computer in the lobby - 15 min surf is free

room was small but clean; elevator helped as stairs very steep; bathroom good size but easily flooded; fabulous continental breakfast; good location near museums

Excellent location, a couple blocks off the tram line but it makes it a quiet night. Room size seemed bigger than typical European budget hotel, and it had a mini-fridge. Door seemed thin in that you could hear your neighbors coming and going, but no other noise problems. An earlier review mentioned that staff did not accept credit cards. This is true - there are not credit card stickers in the window Other than that little hurdle, I'd stay there again. I thought the rate I was pretty good, about one hundred each night for a double.

This hotel is centrally located. You can walk to it from the Eurorail, walk to the Anne Frank haus, and everywhere else. The breakfast is lame and the staff made us pay cash (even though we booked our hotel on our mastercard, they said they didn't take credit cards when we got there and that we would have to pay cash if we wanted to stay there). Weird, but still a good place to stay.
