The hotel was recomended to me by a friend and it was great as they said. Everyone working at the hotel was as gracious as possible...always going the extra mile to make my stay the best possible. The breakfast was the best I have experienced in the area and the one dinner I had in the hotel was excellent. The rooms are modern and the bathroom lovely enough to hang out and relax!! The hotel is located in the historical part of the city and is convenient to all the sites!! I totally suggest that you stay at the Hotel Dei Duchi...you'll really be happy!!

Spoleto is a lovely little town in Central Italy in between Florence and Rome which I visited in June of 2007. Staying there is like going back to the Middle Ages. I had a very good time spending two days at the Hotel dei Duchi, where the people were friendly and cooperative. I occupied a very spacious room with a king size bed and a nice view of the hills surrounding the area. The value received for 120 euros per night , which included a good continental buffet breakfast , exceeded my expectations especially compared to other Italian cities where I stayed, i.e. Milan and Padua. I am eager to return in the month of July for the Art Festival (Festival dei due mondi) which I learned about on this trip.
