We chose this hotel for cost and amenities which proved to be a good choice. This hotel area was ok'd by our Czech friends before booking. Breakfast included traditional meats/breads as well as some American style scrambeled eggs/bacon/sausages. Fruits, yogurt and some mixed salads as well as sweets/breads and cereals. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate and juices. Very complete and filling. Room was well appointed, cleaned/maintained daily but lacked a/c which isnt a big deal however keeping the windows open and facing the street, noise was evident and could be a problem for light sleepers. Mini-bar in room for cold storage (although comes stocked) Nice clean bathroom but you may not always get the same thing as another room (our travel companion had the shower and we had the bath) Courteous front desk and bar staff. Include Internet access for $. There are major bus/tram stops along this route but the Metro (Line C Vlatavsk) is readily accessible within a 5-10min walk. Convenience store on nearby street for water/sodas and snacks if need as well as a KFC and some restaurants. If you dont/cant walk then the trams take about 10-15 min to center city if that.

Comfortable hotel with good access to tourist sites via two tramlines with 10 minute rides -- one just outside door and another a short 5-minute walk away. Access to Old Town without the high cost of hotels there. Not an architectural wonder, but clean and comfortable rooms that were not noisy.

Stayed at the Hotel Belvedere in Prague and couldnt really fault it. Breakfast was continental but fresh eggs scrambled or boiled yoghurt numerous cakes and cereals all fresh produce etc. Rooms were clean and tidy towels changed when requested. Staff were always curtious and obliging, giving directions when requested, nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly go back to this hotel.

A hotel suitable for access to all the great parts of the City, both the Castle area and the Old Town are easy to get to from here. Excellent access to the tram service and a good supply of tickets can be bought from the hotel.
The hotel is friendly and efficient. If anything went wrong it was soon put right. A small technical problem was easily sorted out.
Many languages are spoken in the hotel and the staff make every effort to communicate successfully. Sometimes though they need to know that the English are willing to wait for things to be put right so perhaps they need to have an understanding of English culture.
The room was excellent warm, clean and comfy. Though I would have appreciated more channels on the TV, more news choice apart from CNN would have been nice.
Only really petty thing was the supply of coffee in the room. There seemed to be a petty battle over that. I did not win.
I was on the fourth floor. I was ill for a day and a half and took to bed to clear it up. A doctor could have been accessed. One slight problem is that the room above (I was on the fourth floor) did not seem to have carpets so you could hear every tap of a shoe.
Breakfast was excellent, and great for the time of year. The dining room was roomy and well supplied. There did not seem to be smoking going on.
It is unfortunate that Czech law still allows smoking inside and that was a negative for the bar where I had to eat three times. Even the bar man smoked, though away from the bar.
The Czech's I found to be honest, intelligent, educated (one lady at Sternberg palace spoke fabulous French in lieu of English) attractive and very helpful. Learn a few words of Czech as I found this useful.
Even at the time of year when it was very cold I enjoyed walking through the park at the back of the hotel into the City. I found this park safe, as is most of Prague. You can walk through this park to the Castle also, but the views it gives of the City are excellent, especially St Agnes Convent.
Enjoy yourself, I did.
