Me and my girlfriend spent our vacation in Italy and had a short stop at this hotel. We stayed there for two nights and I can say it was a pleasant stay. We arrived very late and had the chance to get a lovely room where everything was clean and the sheets smelt like flowers. The bathroom also very nice. In the morning the breakfast was very rich and the service perfect. We had a lovely stay there and when we checked out the hotel arranged for transportation. Thank you all. Ciao

and a great place to relax and use as a base for exploring Umbri We stayed in this really excellant hotel for 6 days in late August which is apparantly low season for the lovely city of Perugia which is a university town/city of 160,000 people. This obviously explains why we only paid 800 euros for a 5-star quality quadruple bedroom (this is a 4-star hotel and not a 2-star hotel as indicated incorrectly above in trip advisor). The staff were very friendly, the buffet breakfast is in a beautifully restored country house but what makes it really special is the view from the roof where the smallish but adequate swimming-pool is.We spent 2 days alone up there just soaking in the magnifIcent Umbria countryside while reading and playing cards. The other 3 or 4 days we went on day trips to Florence (take bus at bus stop just outside hotel to the station and its a 2 hour trip by train), Asisi (30 minutes by train) and Sienna (1 and a half hours by bus from the main station). If I had to make a criticism it would be that the breakfast lacked eggs and fresh fruit but that really is splitting hairs. It is a good 10-15 minute walk to the centre but its pleasant and scattered with lovely views along the way and by. Un ottimo posto per rilassarsi ed un buon punto d’appoggio per esplorare l’Umbria. Abbiamo soggiornato in questo magnifico albergo per 6 notti alla fine di agosto. Sembra che sia bassa stagione nella splendida Perugia che è prevalentemente una città universitaria / città di circa 160.000 persone. Questo ovviamente spiega perché abbiamo pagato solo 800 euro per alloggiare in una camera quadrupla di un albergo 5 stelle (questo è un albergo 4 stelle e non un 2 stelle come erroneamente sopra indicato da Trip Advisor). Il personale era molto disponibile, la colazione a buffet viene servita in una splendida country house da poso ristrutturata. Ciò che la rende speciale è lo splendido panorama che si ha dal tetto dove si trova la piccola ma adeguata piscina. Abbiamo passato due giorni da soli in questo posto, leggendo e giocando a carte, completamente assorbiti dalle magnifiche campagne umbre. Gli altri 3 o 4 giorni, abbiamo fatto gite di una giornata a Firenze (prendete l’autobus alla fermata proprio fuori dall’albergo e ci vogliono due ore di treno), Assisi (30 minuti di treno) e Siena (1 ora 30 di autobus dalla stazione centrale). Se dovessi criticare qualcosa, direi che alla colazione mancavano le uova e la frutta fresca, ma sembra veramente di cercare il pelo nell’uovo. Per raggiungere il centro, la passeggiata è di circa 10/15 minuti ma è piacevole e si mescola a magnifici panorami. Per gli standard di Perugina, questo posto è relativamente centrale dato che i dintorni sono vasti e collinosi. Un ottimo albergo dove rilassarsi e da cui fare gite turistiche.

Me and my family had a wonderful time during our stay there.We were there for 7 days and we felt like home because of the great conditions the hotel had to offer; for example the room was very spacious with a shiny bathroom, the food was excellent and the service just perfect. Next time we will definitly stay at this hotel.
