The hotel itself is in a residential area and about a 25 minute tram ride to the city centre. The tram can be caught from around the corner for just one euro.
When we booked the hotel it stated that there was a 24 hour restaurant. I'm not too sure if it is still advertised as that but this is certainly not correct! on arriving at the hotel at 9pm we thought we would get a snack so ordered a burger which was a microwaved burger and not very nice at all! We also had breakfast included in the price which we ordered once but did not ask for again for the next couple of mornings. Breakfast consisted of an odd tasting croissant, "toast" which was served in a packet and some yogurt which was the only thing I ate.
Apart from the food though the hotel and the room itself was nice, very modern and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recomment you take advantage of the free shuttle service into town (this needs to be booked in advance). My advice if you are staying for a few nights would be to pay a bit extra if possible and to get somewhere a little bit closer to town. Also, if the hotel offer a transfer from the airport to the hotel for 60 euros, DONT take it! Get a taxi from the station and they will charge you around 40 euro's and it will take half the time to get there, i think he drove us the long way round so that we could get our monies worth! Also, don't take anything from the minibar, they charge about 4 euros per can of drink!

Me and a friend stayed at the hotel on a short break to Rome. The hotel was nice, clean and the staff very help. Even before departing for Rome I contacted the hotel via their website and asked how I could reach them by public transport. I was sent a fairly prompt response back which I was very impressed with. My main concern was that due to the fact I was arriving on a Sunday, their day of rest, i wasn't sure if reaching them woud be easy. I had no problems. I took the Leonardo express train from FCO to Rome Termini Station (A one way ticket costs 11euros) and then took the no. 90 bus (1 euro) to Piazza Sempione. The hotel does offer an airport transfer shuttle service which costs 60euros (luggage cost are included).
My only criticism of the hotel is it's location. It is a fair distance out and not close to any train stations. Bus nos. 90 (to termini station), and 60 (takes you to piazza venezia. useful place to get off to see the roman forum and colleseum) are the useful ones to catch. The bus no. 40 will take you from termini station to the vatican. Bus services, especially the no. 90 finish at about 12am, so after that time, taxis would be your only alternative. Another thing to be weary of is that often the bus stop signs are not all that well lit/clear therefore making it hard to see if your getting off at the right place.
The hotel does mention on it's website that they offer a free shuttle service to termini station, but for some reason, it wasn't running during the 3 days i was there. Still not sure why. The best thing I found was to buy a one day travelcard which costs around 4 euros and you can buy it at any news kiosk. If you are intending on doing a few museums over several days then a Roma Pass may work out cheaper (20euros)
Overall, I would not discount staying here again however, if you are going to Rome for the first time I would probably recommend you stay a little more closer to the centre. At least popping back to the hotel to recharge and escape from the heat would be far easier.

This hotel is perfect for those with champagne tastes on a beer budget.
The hotel is tucked away in a mainly residential area that has great access into the centre of town (where the bus terminal is). There are about 4 buses that will take you directly into town, within 10 minutes.
The hotel is clean, simple and modern. The pictures on the website are exactly how the hotel looks. Some of the rooms do seem to be quite small though, if you can try and get a room with a balcony. Perfect for enjoying a late night drink or an early morning breakfast.
The breakfast, which was included in the very cheap price was also nice. Only negative was that it was repetetive. We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights and it was the same everyday. Good quality hams, cheeses, breads, jams, cereal etc. With fresh orange, teas and coffees. The dining area was very light, with large windows which was a great way to start the morning.
The hotel also has free internet access in the communal area, which comes in handy when planning trips etc for the day if your last minute as I usually am.
On the main road, where the bus goes past to get to the hotel, there is a great Pizza place...lots of choices and all fresh. Try to avoid the kebab place on the corner by the hotel though.
Great base to visit Rome from. Lots to see and do in Rome, take good walking shoes!
Top Tip: Buy a pass for the buses and trains as its the cheapest way to get around Rome.
Lots of great places to eat in Rome, but try not to get ripped off in tourist areas where the food is cheap and they lure you in with set menus! The house wine is also a great option!

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the hotel. We chose this location because it is in our old neighborhood and we know the area quite well. It's a quiet residential area, not touristic at all. There are 2 main bus lines "express" that go there, either the 90 from Termini to the hotel "piazza Sempione" or the 60 that will take you all the way to the Colosseum. We also used no 84 to go to Piazza Venezia, That's the end stop so you are ensured a seat on the return trip.
The hotel is small, 48 rooms. We had two adjoining rooms for our family of 4 and found it very adequate. Bathrooms were also large and modern. We were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday so the hotel gladly kept our birthday cake in their fridge so we could enjoy it on the way back from dinner. We usually eat at our old neighborhood trattoria up the street about 15 minutes walk, can't tell the name because I don't want it to become touristic though, otherwise eating nearby is sparse and I would suggest going into town for a meal.
All in all a nice stay and we would defintely stay again.
The only thing that kind of bothered me was that they charged more than the price I saw on their internet booking site. It wasn't a lot , but enough to pay for another dinner in Rome. I didn't mention it because it was a special birthday trip, but next time I'll speak up.

This hotel was just right for a few days stay in Rome. It was only a short bus ride from the centre and the staff were so helpful about advising the best way to get about. The hotel was spotless and was just so nice to come back to after a hard day sight seeing. The resturant that the staff recomended was a real gem and only a short walk away. I know most people say its too far out but it really is so easy to get into the centre.
