My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights to celebrated our 1st aniversary, we arrived around 12.30pm, as we got there before checking time we did not expect to get to our room, however the receptionist checked us in straight away, she was very friendly and polite.
When we got to our room we found a bottle of wine and a card wishing us to have a lovely time, this really meant a lot to us as we did not expect it a all, I called the receptionist to thank her for this lovely gesture and then I found out that they knew it was our wedding aniversary because when making the booking by e-mail I stated that we were coming to London to celebrate a wedding aniversary.
We had breakfast both mornings, breakfast was good with lovely choice of frest fruits.
Staff very friendly and helpful
We would definitely stay here again.

The location is great. It's a quick walk to Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and the London Eye. There is a tube station just a block or so away to help you get to all other locations. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was decent in size and the bathroom was quite large. The rooms were clean, but the beds were not particularly comfortable.
There were only a few downsides. The TV only had about three channels and a few sports channels. Not much choice for watching in the mornings and evenings. Also, the internet is available by buying codes for either 1 hour or 24 hours of internet. Towards the end of my trip, they had run out of codes for 24 hour codes, but I needed more than an hour of internet. Buying two hours was very nearly the cost of 24 hours. A minor drawback, but still a bit annoying.
I would stay here again.

A great find – charming and very well-kept, this gem in Westminster is perfect for your stay in Londontown. My bedroom was not to largest, but it was more than ample enough. The staff was VERY helpful and went above and beyond a few times. The food in the pub is good and the breakfast is decent. Not the Ritz but far from a fleabag too. The area is a big dead on the weekends – even though it’s only a long block from Westminster Abbey, it’s still a little off the beat of path of the crowds. But overall, it’s close to most everything.

stayed here for 3 nights in feb. prices in london are so expensive so we were suprised what we got on a budget.. this hotel is in the financial district but its easy to get anywhere from here.. tube station is a 2min walk down the street and big ben is a five min walk in the other direction! All the main sights are all within walking distance, really couldnt ask for a better location. The room was really comfortable also. The guy in reception was very helpful, he went out of his way to show us how to get to where we wanted to go and give us some advice about where to go on a night out. The only downside to the hotel was the food in the bar.. it was awful!! but i would definatly stay here again..

Hotel is well run with friendly unobtrusive staff and clean, well decorated rooms. Location is excellent, just a short walk from St James's Park, Big Ben, Westminster Pier for boats down the river and Buckingham Palace. The road outside is quiet late at night till early morning, but it's a pity that there is no double glazing for that light nap before going out to dinner! This is the only negative comment I'd make for this hotel whose price, by London standards, is reasonable, particualarly when taking location into account.
