I stayed 2 nights at this location and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The location is "in the valley" and it is within a very short drive to a McDonald's, Subway, small Mall, and the airport. It is located approximately 9-10 miles from downtown Juneau. There was a computer for use in the lobby area and another computer for use in the hotel's business center located on the 2nd floor. The hotel had a shuttle van which took guests to an appointed downtown location and/or the airport. My room faced the back of the hotel and it was spotlessly clean, quiet and comforatble. Normal hotel ammenities were included, but there was also a fridge and microwave in my room. The bathroom was pretty tiny but adequate. The continental breakfast, with plenty of breakfast seating, included hot & cold cereals, juices, coffee & tea, toast, bagels, muffins, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and dozens of boiled eggs. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I will definately stay here again.

Stayed at the Country Lane twice in May 2008 when coming and going from Skagway. The Inn is close to the airport and we never found the airport noise to be a problem at night. Staff was exceptionally friendly and very accommodating. Morning breakfast was available early and kept us from having to get in our rental car each morning to search for somewhere to eat. Rooms were clean and even though there was a electrical power problem at the time in Juneau, services were never reduced to save the Inn money. Some Inns in Juneau were surcharging guests for the sudden big increase in electrical rates but the Country Inn stuck to their quoted price. Prices we thought were very reasonable. The hotel also provided us with exceptional courier service on one occassion when we were told there was no place to park our rental car downtown. The Inn was very convenient to Mendenhall Glacier and the Alaskian Marine Highway. I would not have a problem recommending this Inn and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Stopped over in Juneau for a night on the way to Skagway. The location was ideal for us being very close to the airport. We were very pleased with the free transfer service which picked us up from our delayed flight and dropped us back at the airport in the morning. We did however have to wait about 20 minutes at check in as there were many people checking in from our flight and only one receptionist. After a delay to our flight, it was after midnight and we could have done without the extra wait. The room was a little disappointing. Overall it was a little bit 'tired' looking and the bathroom was quite small. The bed was a standard double size (so quite small, especially by North American standards) and the mattress was worn so that we ended up rolling into the middle. However for one night it did fine, although we were probably too tired to care too much. Breakfast in the lobby in the morning was an unexpected bonus (at no extra cost). There was a range of cereals, pastries, muffins, yogurts and fruit. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I wouldn't choose this hotel if you wanted to explore Juneau as it's not near the town. But for an airport stopover its fine.

Having missed our cruise ship in Seattle, we booked this BW Country Lane Inn for one night and flew to Juneau to meet the ship there. The front desk staff and the shuttle bus driver were above and beyond in friendliness and understanding of our situation. We appreciated their helpfulness and hospitality.

Our experiences in Juneau were wonderful, but the staff ( Jake & Percy especially), made our entire trip excellent. The staff was warm & accommodating & we look foreward to returning.
