my wife and i spent an enjoyable 7 nights at the resort, which is 20mins drive from the centre of marrakech and very peacefull during the day. The resort is well maintained and well staffed, there was only 6 other guests maximum around the pool, which is small, on any given day. service levels are overall to a good standard, english is very limited so brush up your french phrases. This did lead to a few issues over converting currency which you cannot do at the hotel, and as the nearest bank or shops are taxi rides away, was a small issue. would reccommend getting dirhams as soon as you land in marrakech.
The food at the hotel was excellent, which is good as you are isolated from other restaurants, it is pricey especially the wine,?30 for a local bottle of wine, french/spainish alot more. European style menu with a daily morracan special. The rooms are well sized with limited minibar and no tea/coffee in room. When we stayed the water and electric was cut off for a period of time but otherwise the rooms were clean and spacious. Worth noting that this idylic retreat is spolit on a nightly basis at 11pm by Chez Ali, huge tourist attraction less than 500yds away, who put on shows with a finale of fireworks and loud bags same time every night!!

I recently spent Easter break with my husband and enfant in Morocco. I stayed at Terre. I want to share that the service was very good and the quality of the food was superb and well priced. The staff went out of there way and the man in charge of the pool made it his task to take care of our child as he ran around all day. The rooms were ample, but not as amenity rich as we are accustom to in Europe. We need to remember that we were in a third world country. The property is also some distance from the city, so plan ahead when venturing off. All and all we had a very nice break and would recommend it to couples even if traveling with children.

We were advised that Marrakech could be noisy and busy so we decided to stay outside of the city in order to relax. Terre Resort is definately outside the city, and you have to pay for taxis to get everywhere. Unfortunately the "Resort" Hotel did not meet any of our expectations. The rooms were spartan, floors dusty, and often smells came from the the drains which did not drain. In the standard room we had the noise from the other rooms meant we did not sleep well. The pool was small and cold and there were not enough loungers to go around. There was no Gym. The staff although friendly tried to twice overcharge us for drinks and food.

My trip o Marrakesh started and unfortunately ended at Terre Resort and Spa were I did enjoy every minute of it!
I was lucky to have chosen this resort as the choice is plenty , but never equaled to this small heaven for those who know quality from quantity, I enjoyed immensely the service and felt pampered every day, The hammam was heaven and the food was amazing1 the service incredible and the staff was very helpful and attentive, definitely going back next Christmas.Loved it.

If you book this hotel expecting 5* luxury then you will be very disappointed. We expected fantastic service and all the trimmings of a 5* hotel when we booked it. The places has no atmosphere and you could be anywhere in Europe rather than North Afrika. The menus are international (with no Morrocan dishes) and no vegetarian options at all in the evening. The 'full' breakfast included in the stay is a cold buffet, although not refrigerated or covered. There are not even any fans so the flies have a wonderful time sitting in the open bowls of jam, honey etc and on the pastries. I was so disgusted that I didn't eat breakfast during our stay. The hotel offer a transfer service to the medina which costs ?10 each way (approx ?5-7 in a local taxi). The driver is rarely at the hotel and didn't once arrive on time when booked. We missed one dinner reservation whilst they left us sitting in the car 'waiting for other passengers' for half an hour. We were paying for a private car - not a shuttle bus service. There are limited toiletries provided in the room, which we found surprising since it is a spa hotel. 2 bars of soap and one bottle of bubble bath that is not replaced once used. The rooms are reasonable spacious but very gloomy. All in all, it was a very bad choice of hotel and should be rated 3* at the highest.
