I stayed here for 5 nights and 6 days during a recent conference for work. I found the place really nice and friendly. Location was about a 5 minute walk to almost everything (Old Town, etc.). Actually ate in the restaurant for breakfast and it was terrific. The work out facilty was state of the art 2 story amenities. Room was good size for Europe and very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

My second stay at the Hilton Prague. The hotel is still excellent. Fantastic service from staff. Breakfast and food in bistro is magnificent (i recommend the club sandwich and the hilton burger!). Cybex health center must be one of the best fitness centers in Prague, and its hardly used!
I recommend this hotel for everyone. Will definitly stay here again next time I visit Prague.

Hotel situtated 15 min walk to the old town square which was rather nice to see the real Prague. On arrival the hotel is very spacious with a glass roof which lets the light flood in,very open plan very clean. On check in it became apparent that the staff were sales trained and tried their hardest to upgrade us to the business floor of the hotel. When we asked we got for our extra 90 Euro's per night he kept repeating that we could have a glass of champers and breakfast was included but the room was no bigger........needless to say we declined We had a normal room which was a little on the small side but perfectly comfortable for two of us and very clean and quiet with a great view of the river. The hotel overall was clean and tidy but very much a business hotel with many conferences taking place. This is very much reflected in the price of services. breakfast was charged at 28 Euros per person, for some orange juice, tea or coffee and some bread,We did hear many complaints. Also lunch in the Cafe was over the top also, a sandwich cost 22 Euros plus a drink each came to almost 45 pounds as were soo hungry we paid. This hotel is seriously overpriced. It is obviously counting on the business traveler claiming back their expenses. Internet 25 pounds for 24 hours, we pay that per month at home. I can not however speak more highly of their fitness center. the pool was lovely, as long as you are not put off by the naked people in the sauna. Treatments were wonderful and actually an ok price. Very professional group of people working there and a brilliant gym In summary hotel was clean, in a good position away from the main square and other tourist's, but very very expensive for food and drink a small Rip Off!!!

Spent a week at the Hilton for a conference. It is a perfectly functional hotel. I was upgraded to the Executive floor but the rooms there are no different, just that you get access to the Executive Lounge. It has a nice gym and decent spa. Meals were more than adequate. Since I was there for a conference, I really did not get time to use too many of the facilities, but as a business hotel it is perfect.
I would not recommend it if you are looking for old world Prague charm. Additionally, it is a short taxi ride to the centre of town.
Remember - it is a business hotel and does not sell itself as anything else.

To be fair, it is a nice hotel, has good meeting facilities. It is a bit out of centre, but still you can walk to the centre in 15 - 20 minutes. The rooms are nice (I stayed in 7th floor) and modern. I also attended to the meeting in the congress centre which went without problems. The staff was always kind, but it does not necessarily mean that they are competent. Here are the problems I had:
1) Sunday night, apparently there was a party in the ballroom, and it was so noisy that I could not sleep in the 7th floor. When I complained about it, the staff said they would investigate the noise, but they were not convinced that it could potentially bother me. THey told me that in weekends these events happen, and pointed out that I was the only one complained about it. Well, afterall the party went on until about 1:30 am, and I could not sleep until after then (and I had a transfer at 07 am). The next day, I asked my colleagues, and they said they had the same problem, but apparently did not complain about it. I think, the minimal you can expect from a hotel is a nice bed and quite, and I dont think it is too much!!.
2) Although the hotel markets itself as a conference centre, wifi service is terrible. We could not get it work during the whole meeting (for noone in the group). Ethernet service is unreliable and very expensive (up to 70 euros a day). Nevertheless, when I wanted to buy the ethernet, the system did not work. I had to call 6 times the switchboard and each time the person on the other side of the line (hotel staff) failed to connect me to an engineer (external) despite each time I remind them this was my fifth, sixth etc call. Finally when I complained about it to the duty manager, she managed to reach the engineer (albeit within an hour) and the engineer solved my problem. As an apology the duty manager sent me a nice note and a 3-euro wine (I am not kidding it tasted terrible when I tried the next day, and I checked from internet. I say, well let's say the it is the thought that matters but I cant stop worrying about the quality of the food I ate there).
3) To make the matters worse, I noticed a telephone charge in my final bill, which I never made. When I queried about the call, the staff found the details of the call, and you know what, they charged the telephone call (to the engineer) to my room. It is really too much! It took me 6 calls, and about two hours to get connected (and the connection is not exactly cheap). I get a three euro wine and a dry apology, and then they charge me 10-15 euros for the call to their own engineer. Come on!! Finally they took this out of the bill, but what a cheek!
Overall, I would not stay here again. I would go for somewhere more central and with more charm. As for the business services, perhaps the meeting rooms and facilites are not bad, but make sure that your guests dont stay in the hotel. And finally check if there is a party planned if you are staying on the weekend, unless you are invited to the party!!!!
