I stayed at Hilton Westend Budapest for five days in April 2008.
The best experience: service-minded staff, clean and quiet room with all facilities, good meeting facilities. The hotel is next door to a big shopping mall in Budapest.
The hotel charged a high sum (7,500 Hubs) for the breakfast, which was not included in the room rate.
In summary, I'd recommend this hotel, but check whether the breakfast is included.
For museum visit, I'd recommend: House of Terror, at http://www.budapest.com/TerrorHouseBudapest.htm.

I went on a "girls" weekend to Budapest. We loved the city and were very pleased with the hotel. It's a good location and is easy to walk to most places within the city. The room and bathroom were both spacious, clean and quiet - the soundproofing is excellent!

For me it was the second visit in 6 months here but first review.
The location for a tourist is not bad as the hotel has a direct to connect to the large shopping centre behind it.
As for the hotel the negative is, there is no swimming pool.
But a respectable gym with free sauna makes up for this from my point of view
Usually as a Diamond member there is a welcome box in the room waiting for you. This was not there, but arrived a day later in the form of a small box of chocolates and a bottle of water
What happened to the wine??? I usually get from the Hiltons???
The main reception are swift and courteous and to be frank if you need something expediting straight away with a confirmation you are better going through the main reception over the Exec lounge (if staying on Exec Level)
My own experiences of the lounge was that trying to ask for a late check out is a bit convoluted you ask the night before but they always make you try again on the morning of leaving even as in my case the hotel was only 30 % full.
It took 3 requests to book a hotel taxi to the airport @6600frt when I went to the main reception there was no reservation for me but luckily a driver was available
This could easily ended in frustration through lack of attention to detail.
In short organise your stuff direct with the main reception even if you are staying on the exec floor!
The hotel does have a business feel about it and has a lot of similarities to the Hilton Dubai creek.
The rooms are about average for the Hilton.

This hotel is located just outside the Keleti-pu main train station and is attached to a huge shopping center with all brands. Nice rooms, very confortable armchair and beds.
