A lovely little hotel in a perfect location for the centre of Brugges - just steps away from the canal, bars, restaurants and shops. The staff were super and helpful. If I have any critisiscm, and this is being particular, the toilet space was tight - it was OK for me and my husband but if you were on the large size I think you would be squashed in!!! Also the breakfast was delightful but pricey.
I could live here!

This is a wonderful hotel with charming rooms a lovely lounge and bar and an excellent breakfast in a peaceful setting. We needed far more time to soak up the ambiance and enjoy the facilities though we tried our best in the one night we had. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. We had to decline the champagne at breakfast as we had a day's work ahead but another time. We will be returning very soon.

We travelled from Manchester via the Hull - Zeebrugge overnight ferry. Very easy way to travel. We landed 8.30 am and took all of 30 minutes to get to the hotel. Bruges is a small edieval city with in an egg shape of canals. The main square is about 100 yards from the Pand Hotel which is tucked away just off a main road ( not that there are any main roads in Bruges, they're all cobbled).
Tip regarding parking. The hotel can offer you a parking spot right outside the hotell for 22E a night, if you book in advance. There is a secure underground carpark about 30 yards away from the front of the hotel which you can use once you have unpacked and that costs 8E per night.
The Pand is a lovely old fashioned hotel with beautiful interiors. We stayed in a junior suite which overlooked garden terrace on the 4th floor ( lift available). The room was quite big but also very comfortable. the staff were very helpful quite the Polyglots. We went on the arranged walking tour which is provided free by the hotel which was good as well. The much vaunted champagne breakfast was quite enjoyable if a little limited.
All in all it was a lovely stay. Its a bit too quiet at times but you are on the doorstep of all the excitement that Bruges can offer which to be honest, isnt much anyway.

Others have said it before us. Tthis is a delightful small hotel, very central and with friendly helpful staff. My husband finds stairs diffricult so we were given a ground floor junior suite opening out on the the courtyard.
Some mornings we were too late for breakfast or did not feel like the whole works, so had coffee in the bar which came with all sorts of calorific delights - including a marvellous chocolate mousse.
The desk staff were alert, responsive and helpful in booking restaurants and our trip to Flanders Fields, organizing taxis when necessary and so on.
It all made for a delightful and relaxing stay.
